- The LSU Tigers are taking on Ole Miss at home, and the Rebels haven't tasted victory in the Bayou since 2008. Now, in 2024, the Rebels have their sights set on the College Football Playoffs, which is something that Ole Miss has never done. In order to attain this though, the Rebels need to snag a win in Death Valley. Brian Kelly, on the other hand, needs this victory to keep morale high in Baton Rouge. Who wins this game? Brian Kelly has a SEC West Title, Heisman winner, multiple first round picks, an insanely upgraded defensive staff and arguably the best recruiting class in the nation… astute LSU fans love him
Yet how did he lose to the trojans
It could be just me but in the current era of college football I just can’t see anybody else being in his spot.

Ari is massively underestimating the train wreck that Kelly took over. He inherited 39 players off two .500 seasons in a row. Staff and recruiting are awesome. This is not the same kind of rebuild that a school like Alabama is experiencing right now
Ole Miss hasn’t faced an offense like LSU’s yet. We have a better defense this year unlike last year where we just couldn’t get stop at all.
LSU has to start strong. Nuss can’t be making dumb decisions. We can’t give up an easy TD on a busted coverage. It just can’t happen. We have to hit Dart early & often. I feel Blake Baker will definitely show stuff he hasn’t shown all year & with the extra week to prepare hopefully the players can lock it in.
I almost guarantee we will have shot to get a huge stop on one of those insane 4th down tries Lane does every game. If we can get a huge stop when that play happens and get a quick score after it that could be the difference in this game.
The game is in Tiger Stadium at night , so I like LSU’s chances in this game.
The only way the Tigers Win is Tackle,Tackle and Tackle if not they Lose. Miss Tackles beat them last year against Ole Piss.

The ppl I’ve seen hating on BK have been very ignorant for the most part. If you talk to somebody who can speak intelligently about football, they generally have a positive view of BK.

Through 5 games LSU has 15 sacks, 10 forced fumbles, and 32 TFLs. Be good at what you’re good at and you have a shot, but it’s an uphill climb no matter what. Get them playing behind the sticks, which we’ve been good at. Don’t bail them out with defensive delay of games and PI calls.
I think once the new defensive staff gets their own recruits in and get the younger guys on the team rn used to the scheme, they’ll look much better long term.
The noise bothers both teams on the field. Including lsu horrible defense.

LSU will lose because that what BK does when facing top 10 teams. Ole Miss is the better team and when BK faces that, his ego stops him from adjusting after halftime.

Death Valley at night pressured Refs into throwing that laundry. LSU will be bailed out by lazy and bad PIs against Ole Miss. they saw Ole Miss get a bunch in the first few weeks so they feel obligated. Like in Kentucky game
Exactly settle for FGs for x amount holding calls anything can happen SEC is not kind to Mississippi unless defense can convert TDs from turnovers like at Bama 2015.
