Those nutrias are nonchalantly basking in the sun. Beautiful animals when looked at but what devastation they caused to the marsh land.
We enjoy watching them, but we also enjoy eating them. 🤣 I know there are a lot of people that kill nutrias, cut the tails off, a discard the whole nutria. It seems like a waste of resources. It's such a good clean meat. 🍻

I can tell this wasn't T. ara's FIRST "ROUXDEO" as it came out perfect dark color and I could smell it from here when you added the TRINITY. Just so happens I cooked a big pot of rabbit/nutria sauce piquant with plenty CAYENNE PIQUANT in there. No one could tell the difference between the rabbit meat and the nutria meat. It was delicious. That stew with smothered corn looked amazing. I did not have a nice campfire to chill out and sip a few cold ones afterwards so ya'll got to do the ROUGAROU MAMBO in the swamp. Nothing like a hot cup of coffee with grits, sausage and eggs for breakfast. Better be NICE to the COOK. Great relaxing video. I think this is first video you posted that ya'll didn't catch a fish. Oh Well until NEXT TIME!
Hey Mr. Glenn! I may have made a roux or 2 in my day🤣🤣 . Different colors for different foods! I love love the smell of a roux cooking! Sometimes, I know I have the whole neighborhood smelling good! Lol. And I love a good cuppa coffee. Another awesome video, all your videos are A*. We have not been fishing my husband got sick with this crud going around. We are getting ready for our artic freeze coming Tuesday, ughhh. We have 25 laying hens and 1 roaster to prepare their coop. I been here in Amelia all my life and never ate nutra. I will have to try it y"all made it look good. Had to edit: I just thought they remind of the Prairie Dogs in Nebraska and out west. Minus the tail. People eat those too. They mainly eat plants like the Nutria.

I wouldn’t necessarily want to eat meat that comes from an animal that looks like a rat, but I bet I’d eat anything as long as y’all cooked it lol. Y’all know how to throw down in the kitchen! I think I was a Cajun in a past life lol. Gotta love that Onyawn 😊 My mom and I used to watch Justin “Cajun Cook” Wilson all the time when I was a kid. He is what started my interest in Cajun food. Now it’s my absolute favorite style.

Great job cooking. I had a great dinner tonight too. Grilled redfish and fried catfish, shrimp and stuffed shrimp with potato salad. Red beans with sausage and cut up honey baked ham. Now we have great leftovers for the next couple days. All southern Louisiana seafood and river cats.

Couple years back I snagged one while fishing during the winter , it was in a pocket along the marsh edge bathing in the warm water coming out of the ponds , thought at first it was a gar slow moving till I pull it up my to my boat just wanted to go get my plug back , took pics just to show buddies how big it was , boy did it get mad , didn’t get my plug back 😂

I’ve never had one ,but I love to eat me a beaver so I bet they’re similar. 🤭Almost all the meat Americans eat is gmo corn based carbon. All the protein you can eat that is grass fed, or wild grown, is truly life giving. These feed lot cows have the same diseases that the folks who eat them do. People who eat wild game , or well raised livestock,can ward off genetic diseases, and more. Low quality protein doesn’t break down or refold correctly. When proteins misfolding, it makes Parkinson’s, Huntingtons, Lou gerrik type conditions come out and play. When low quality protein dna unravels at the end, it causes cancer. An abundance of high quality proteins, and a body with a ph of 7.4, will discard faulty proteins and use the good ones. If it doesn’t have good ones available, or your body is acidic, it will use your own proteins. If you have genetic predisposition to hereditary conditions, it will multiply those.
