Got my X1 Pro with Beacon today. The US$428 X1 Pro price (no Beacon) I thought wasn’t too bad. Extra US$144 for the Beacon. The big thing for me as a cyclist is the 42kph speed can keep up which my previous Hover X1 could not. The DJI Neo was an immediate no go as it’s too slow too like the original X1. Also Neo misses that X1 feature of folding away. To slip in my cycling jersey pocket or frame bag has been a huge advantage with the X1 for my needs. Anyway just day 1 for me. Haven’t encountered any bugs as yet so looking forward to a gravel biking adventure with it next weekend!

Great video, exactly what I’m looking for to help guide and educate my understanding on these two devices. I’ve not yet received my X1PM so thanks for sharing such great quality content 🙌👍
The neo is just way too over sharpened in this video, while the Hoverair max's video quality far exceeds neo's, i'm not sure i'd pick that over the neo due to the vast price difference, and if i'm gonna be using a drone for activities like that, i don't really care much for supreme video quality. I'll use the mini 4 pro for cinematic video. But i do love what Zerozero is doing with their hoverair though, especially with the beacon. Thanks for the video.
Great video, thank you. I have mine sat on the desk doing a firmware update. My biggest concern so far is the blown-out video, its over exposed. It does not deal with direct sunlight as well as the DJI NEO, which I also have. I'll reserve judgement until I have used mine.
Dunno...Neo looked crisper with better color. I know they say Neo is oversharpened but...Neo is less than half the price. I just got the DJI last week and tried it on a moderately gnarly downhill MTB trail in the woods, sadly it got hung up by a tree in the first 5 seconds, then had great difficulty following me down a twisting, wooded trail, parking itself 4 more times, and I was only going about 1/4 normal speed. It would likely work better in the open. I'm hoping the Hover w Beacon might perform better for MTB in tight spaces, waiting on more vids of this subject matter. Cheers

Because as usual it was over hyped, just look at the promotional videos that looked amazing, and then reality hit that it was just that over hyped under delivery. At least everything worked on the Neo at launch, app is perfect controller works perfect, the only small issue was active track that has now been fixed. The hype I got hooked on was its supposedly obstacle avoidance but so far that also does not work as expected. The beacon is not working, Android users could not even use the app when the drone was released 2 weeks ago!

The only positive seems to be the camera, but is it worth that price difference? And remember that price is Indigogo price not local pricing after import duty tax and retailer mark up. The Neo and X1 already includes all that
In this case, DJI is a competitor for ZeroZero Robatics, they came up with a new format "flying action camera" (not to be confused with a drone), which, like a regular action camera, fits in a clothing pocket, does not require control and management, has a minimum startup time. And DJI climbed into their territory with a clumsy product.
