I was very fortunate to test ride and review the all new A2 compliant VOGE 652cc DSX and give my honest first ride opinion. It’s a punchy single cylinder engine ‘The same motor used in the BMW 650GS’ and a great one too!
(Thanks to the Superbike Warehouse in Great Yarmouth for the loan of the demo) would highly recommend a test ride! What a great bike!! Check out there website for details www.superbikewarehouse.co.uk #voge #vogeuk #voge650dsx #sbwh #superbikewarehouse

Nice video , smart practical bike, good value for the money, these bikes are certainly going to give the competition a run for the money

Nice one Jake, great review. The Chinese have come a long way especially with the components they are using now and hopefully a longer lasting finish especially with this one being an adventure motorcycle getting a bit more abuse. Take care 👍🏍🏁

Now that is a nice bike for the money there Jake especially with the language , have you tried the 500 twin version I just wondered what if any difference there was aside the smaller engine of course good one : )

I agree definitely worth a look this one! I’ve not tried the 500 twin yet, the single sounds great. Cheers.

Chugs along. That’s what sums it up! Great looking bike. Apparently you need to mess about with the gears a lot at low speed and fuel economy is meant to be dreadful. Warranty isn’t transferable I hear also! Resale prices will be rock bottom. I also hear they don’t like the wet and the electrics go a bit wonky if wet.

Yes definitely chugs along this one! Especially being a single cylinder engine.

Hi. First time here subscribed and liked 👍.
I had the privilege to ride this bike in mixed off road environment in the Atlas mountains in Morocco and to be honest with you i didn't enjoy it as much as i though i would be.
The off road button, you have to stop first and engage it b4 you start.
The weight distribution seems to me unbalanced as most of the weight higher up to center gravity as you definitely feel it off road as i found my self having to use lot of force to get the bike back in balance after some off road maneuvering and when dropped, it needs lot of force to lift it up again especially when loaded plus full tank of fuel. Weight distribution seemed unbalanced. The tenere and african twin and yamaha xt left me behind as i was struggling through the sand 😫, found myself having to use low gears with high revs and once we got to open road for 80km stretch i felt the vibration and once off the bike for a quick break, it took quite a bit of time to get rid of vibration sensation off my body. And the screen is not that clear when under sun shine. I think the front wheel should have been 21 rather than 19 as in off road bikes. As you mentioned, it needs upgrading the handlebar heating for that cold mornings start and protection as branches wept my hands few times and yes it did hurt.
In a town i wiuld have prefered twin cylinder read break. In long run as we covered 600km journey, i found the ride position very tiring. I wouldn't compare it with the 650GS German engineering but for the price after my experience, i think I'll settle for second hand yamaha, Honda, bmw, Tiger/triumph...
I enjoyed watching your review 😊 as commuter bike in town with rear brake caliper upgrade to twin cylinder one for more comfort and ease. But as adventure bike, I'm not convinced after my experience in 2 days heavy riding as i was very eager to get back my africa twin for the rest of the adventure as we rode to Senegal (Dakar) and back. And our friend on voge had to finish his trip in Mauritania and sent the bike back to Morocco in the back of a truck 😢.
Take care and looking forward to your next video 👍

Can u comment on the knee bend angle..looks a little acute for knackered 60yr old knees but hard to see easily..otherwise absolutely lovely machine and and nice to see a single amidst a sea of parallel twins and V's!! Lovely..just the knee bend that worries me 🙈

Thanks for the comment! I don’t recall any extreme high foot pegs on this model and was very easy on the knees. Actually a great machine all round tbh. I’d recommend a test ride to be sure it’s for you. Thanks again.

Did you find any vibration through the handlebars causing any tingling in the hands?

    • @RiderReviews
      @RiderReviews  5 месяцев назад +1

Yes pretty harsh if I remember rightly at higher speeds! Not a particularly fast bike tbh.
