Wonderful interview. Packer is always a Christian gentleman in the fullest and best sense. The interview appears to end somewhat abruptly. Was there more to the interview beyond the approximately 59 minutes? Thanks.

Why do some people need to write a systematic theology in these comments?

at ~ 21:40 Dr. Packer displays some remarkable humility re: Dr. Martin Loyd-Jones considering the things I have read about the ecumenism of ECT and Packer's support of it and Loyd-Jones settled opposition against it. To have opposing convictions and yet honor Christ in their treatment of one another is a witness we need today, yes?
My brothers and sisters, and I have firm convictions on the incompatibility of the soteriology held by the groups attempting the ecumenism in ECT, however, without budging on those convictions, James White is likely correct in remarking: it likely will not be long before the society in the West, with it's "cancel culture" and National Socialistic appearance of repeating a march across the continents exterminating "competing ideologies" will push Rome and orthodox Christianity, Judaism, etc.. and it is now that those who would rather face prison or death than deny our convictions re what Scripture reveals about Yahweh, it is now that one had better understand why they are not part of other confessional religions. Caring for human life, sharing the true gospel are not two different things and ecumenism under persecution that surrenders the once for all delivered to the saints Faith must be fortified against else we will have no eternal life upon which to share with the other religious people facing the public stripping of livelihoods, the tower, or the sword in the future.
