When you make a legend you become a legend. I am a proud owner of a FK8 Honda Civic Type R. It is not only one of the best cars I have ever owed, it is one of the best cars I have ever driven. I am never selling my FK8. Thank you Kakinuma san. Thank you.
It’s really inspiring to learn more about the people who bring the cars we love to life. Knowing this man’s story, from his childhood passion for cars to the incredible work he’s done, has given me a whole new level of respect for him and the dedication he’s poured into his craft.
This car was advertised as a track car. However, it overheats even in stock form. You'd need several mods to extend the time on track. The good news is its relatively low price point. This allows many people to jump into the community. This community leads to many areas, including how to solve this issue without official Honda support. They should have made a V mount to deal with cooling and figure out how to fit the AC condenser elsewhere. Im sure Honda has enough money for that.
as much as i love my fl5 they could have given it a better factory exhaust also +R is unusable unless you swap out the stock damper module for the integra type s one
@@xThundersZ the car is overdampened to the point it is skittish and bounces everywhere even on a racetrack. multiple people, including the likes of Gears and Gasoline, and even DK himself have complained about the bounciness on stock ADS. they were setting faster laptimes with the suspension set to sport or comfort. driving on NY roads with my car it felt like a pogostick. the integra type s module makes the ride much more compliant and honestly helps driving over bumps on the backroads better too

Hahaha, you just don't know what the car was made for goofball...as much as Honda wants you to believe it's a daily..it's a little track monster...I drive only in +R mode........and nobody has sat in any other of my seats....😅😅😅😅😅

Why unusable? Lots of people stuck with R mode whole day whole night without changing the damper module.

Whybdid he allow so many fake aero parts on the fk8? The rear bumper fake vents was the worst.
