The fact that he proposed to FL on the day he got rejected says a lot about him. Couldn't he have proposed on another day....that was cruel. He had Jessica around and thought of her every time he's with FL. He let another woman kiss him on the day he proposed. Disgusting.
A nice one with a good supportive family for FL... Tbh a more realistic n satisfying ending would have been Chase n Ex-bff had gotten together n then Ex-bff had gone her usual path i.e. flip between guys.. and then him suffering real well..
FL was lucky she found out before they got married, it could have been worst. They were best friends for 8 years and bf-gf for 5 years, looking at the math they were betraying her from the very start by not telling FL they had an unresolved past.
What a sad love story. I think I will also do the same when I see my fiancee kissing my best friend passionately and asking her if she regrets dumping him and another thing her fiancé prevents her slapping her bestie for her betrayal.
So basically Serena was just a second choice. A tool he used to make Jessica jealous. Don't panic now that you 2 traitors have been caught. There is nothing to explain. I agree with Serena. Chase used her for revenge. Now he's like I love you? I want to marry you? No! Don't ask for another chance. As Serena said, we're not stupid. We know he still has feelings for Jessica and just saying what he thinks Serena wants to hear. When Serena asked Chase if he ever genuinely loved her, he proved exactly what her father said. In front of Serena, he played the perfect boyfriend but behind her back, it was all about Jessica. As Serena said why should she forgive? Why should she be generous? All she did was try to be a good girlfriend and friend. But those 2 didn't care. They are the ones who wronged her. As the father said, Chase claims he loves Serena. But, he used and hurt her in one of the worst possible ways.
Accepting a rebound relationship often leads to disappointment, especially for someone who has just experienced rejection. As a woman, it's important to be kind to yourself and avoid deluding yourself into thinking that everything will be fine as long as your efforts pay off in the end. Don’t compromise your self-worth or cross boundaries simply because you have feelings for someone. This can cloud your judgment and make it difficult to assess the situation clearly, especially if their emotional intelligence is lacking.
26:56 seriously didn’t do anything? Hugging and kissing each other like lost lovers at you engagement is nothing? Wow guess sleeping together is like a tickle between friends! And if he loved her all this time then why did he had the BF on his dates still like in beginning? And I would take that house and sell it as compensation for the 5 years of waste with him.
Humans can love more than one at a time such as loving your kids. That is why in some traditions allow polygamy. The issues are needs, how much love, fairness, just. Sometimes you are not compatible with the one you love thus unable to marry or make the marriage work.
Jessica needs to seek therapy. There is a huge problem when you have had so many partners in the past and none of them were the right one. The fact she got divorced at the end just confirms it. As for Chase, he isn’t repentant at all. He doesn’t actually miss Serena. It’s just he doesn’t want to be alone and his dirty truth was exposed. He needs to get off his high horse. After the betrayal, he still had the prideful attitude to declare we can get married soon and move on from this…. Dude, you are not that great of a catch. Slap your GF and then dangle some candy in front of her? Get lost!
Just before chapter 6: What in the AI Horror is that? The barbell is through her bust, and her arms are backwards 😖😦 Again, at 13:37, weird backwards legs..
Chase may have grown to love the FL over the years. He still hung onto his feelings from Jessica's rejection. He had to get his pound of flesh, but the forced acknowledgement of Jessica's regret followed by the kiss was a fatal misstep. It cut his fiance to the bone and gave the impression that he had deep feelings for her best friend. Jessica is the worst, best friend ever. She even has the audacity to ask the FL to give up and let her have Chase. They lied to her and hid things. The FL lost trust in both of them, never to be recovered. Even though they weren't cheating and didn't get together, neither one deserves to be forgiven.
Ok he didn’t tell her in the beginning but he fell in love with her. Just a kiss isn’t the end of the world. That’s just bull she could’ve forgiven him
It's the fact that everything is a LIE.... and he went after the girl, protected the girl, was trying to so called seek revenge. If he didn't have feelings for the friend then he wouldn't have left on his engagement day to ask her do she regret it etc. If he loved the FL he would have been told her what was up ..... Also it was her Best Friend ... who also lied and betrayed her trust
@@naynayjones9166 I agree with you! I remember hearing a reddit story that was quite similar to this one where the friend and boyfriend were in an on-and-off relationship until the boyfriend started dating OP. The boyfriend never told OP about having a past relationship with the friend, but he DID NOT stay in contact with the friend once he knew that him and OP were in a serious relationship. If Chase was seriously in love with Serena, then he shouldn't have followed the friend out to "check" on them or comfort them. This action shows that he's childish, immature, and all in for revenge.

👍
Could’ve been his way of letting go of the past. It’s just a day.
@@adriengaming483 Kissing is first love on the day he proposed. That's some way of letting go.
Having a support group of friends and family makes all the difference in recovery from any trauma
Nice story... A careless, stupid, or gross mistake leads to an endless loss of trust.
👍
So true
Nice dad protecting the daughter

Dam she needed a restraining order against both of these people. They're both so nuts.
Why is it that it is always the girl/ woman who proposes to the boy/man they like.
Jessica is a pick me.
