One of my favorite things about David Tennant is his consistency. He always answeres the questions with the same feel and reaction and it comes accross very genuine. You just get the feel that he is answering the questions truthfully.
"The Waters of Mars" is one of the best episodes for the 10th Doctor. Beautifully filmed, terrific special effects and, most importantly, AMAZING performance by DT. The Doctor is in a dark, dark place in this one. Absolutely loved it.
i stayed up all three nights and listened to david via the absolute radio iamp app on my cellphone. huge david fan and i love that i was able hear him all the way in chicago
@bobjob777 though technically when the person wrote their statement, he was in America he was filming Fright Night here from like August-beginning of October or something similar to that. But he's since gone back and is obviously now back home.
Im sad that NBC never took on Rex is Not Your Lawyer...I want David in America!!!! I want to see him here...I did hear his "American Accent" and it freaked me out...but I'll get over it...Its like hearing Hugh Laurie speak his Brittish Accent after knowing him on House...but got over it...and love both his accents...mostly his Brittish one. :) ahhh....lol
I sincerely hope David is successful at any project that comes his way. The premise of the programme sounds naff to me frankly, but I've been proved quite wrong before. Blackpool and LOM for example - which both had been stellar!! Do note, time wise, coming over to the UK takes almost as long as a cross continental trip you're proposing. Unless you're really that keen to visit L.A.?
Quite right - make 'em chocolate chip, to avoid confusion. :).Anyway, the Rex project is laid aside at present. He'll be doing a drama series in Glasgow, "Single Father".
The Waters of Mars scared the living daylights out of me and I'm an adult! It was the first time that I was really terrified of The Doctor and how much power he has! As for the pilot, it's Rex Is Not Your Lawyer. I dunno if there are still people who has it though.
@TeeveesBella I definitely agree. Hollywood sometimes tends to turn brilliant actors into jokes. I would really much rather see him remain in Britian and continue being brilliant than be ruined by Hollywood.
I would love for David to be on my tv all the time here in America, but I'm actually a bit glad it didn't work out. It just would'nt feel right if he were on American TV.
PLEASE COME TO AMERICA DAVID! i will find my way to LA!!! (i live in new york it was a fifty fifty chance that he would film here cause they only EVER film in LA or NY) NBC PLEASE PICK UP REX IS NOT YOUR LAWYER
@MaximAule Don't worry. It was a half-baked idea for a TV show, anyway. There just aren't many great, challenging projects for someone of his considerable talent. :)
@GermanPeoplePerson That was like a year or so ago. He shot a pilot, (about lawyers, I think) but it never got picked up. So he's back. No worries. : )
@CaliforniaBlonde000 It's just that actors tend to become "stars" and cease to exist as normal people when they go to the US. I know, it's not the fans fault but still, I'm worried about David going to the US.
what? what? what?! he's leaving? my comps lagging so i cant finish this interview right now but i've gotten to the part where they're talking about an american sitcom drama? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.. please dont leave, tennant!!! what will the uk do without you?
@geschreiben well I am guessing it is like Star Trek: it is an adult show but kids love it. I think some of the best Scifi is all ages. Besides, we all know that British kids are so much smarter than us Americans that it probably is seen as being simplistic and childish over there.
And then the new show didn't happen. T_T Which is a pity, as it actually had a pretty interesting premise. And, you know. David Tennant with an American accent.
why's everyone upset about David trying to go to America? The pilot was never picked up, so no go to the US for David. I'm not sad or anything, but his american accent was a hard sell.
@klbates I think you should deal with your anger management issues elsewhere. I have several American friends but I still think that the English surroundings suit David the best.
@klbates Dude, keep your insults to yourself. If you don't agree with me, be civil about it. If it wants to go to American, he can. I was just stating an opinion, I'm perfectly free to do that, and I'd like to do that without be insulted, thanks.
Look, I am a Christian, and I believe in what you're saying, but there is a time and place for everything. You're not sending a good image for the rest of us. (Sorry if I am sounding mean, but I am being frank). Thank you. God bless! :)
oooohhh. so his american sitcom was rex is not your lawer? ooohh. makes sense. his american accent makes me crindge cause its so weird to hear him talk like that!! ahh! hes so hot...haha
I'm an American, but I'm not gonna lie -- I'm happy the pilot didn't work out. David is far, far too good a person and too talented an actor to be ruined by Hollywood, which is such a terribly toxic environment. Stay in Britain, David! We American fans will find you!
"I want to go when I know there's a chance I'll be missed" ....... David, you'll never know how much we miss you.
One of my favorite things about David Tennant is his consistency. He always answeres the questions with the same feel and reaction and it comes accross very genuine. You just get the feel that he is answering the questions truthfully.
David Tennant has SUCH an adorable laugh.
"The Waters of Mars" is one of the best episodes for the 10th Doctor. Beautifully filmed, terrific special effects and, most importantly, AMAZING performance by DT. The Doctor is in a dark, dark place in this one. Absolutely loved it.
Yeah, it's one of my favorite episodes.
same, one of the best eps ever!

Seeing David smile makes me smile. Always.

"You'll never be the Doctor Who again..."
And look, where we are now! :o) 2023. "I know these teeth. What? What?! WHAT?!?!" 💙
"Sitcom?! It's a drama, love!"
Instant replay, pretending he's addressing me. :D

i wish all the best to David Tennant cause he deserves so much more, a real TARDIS :D
Right at the end, he answers the only question I had. Thanks!
His giggle omg
Omfg that giggle is adorable :3!!!!!!!
Would be interesting how a series 5 with David tennant would have looked like.
You guys were having good fun in the studio together! I hope we'll have it again. ;o)
Who the hell actually DISLIKED this godly piece of work? I swear, people go around and DISLIKE every video they watch just to be douches.
The giggle at 6:44. Adorable!
I love how David interrupts Christian all throughout the video...
"So you'll never be Doctor Who again?"
He's never been Doctor Who.. His character was called The Doctor.
I’m sorry to correct you, but you might want to watch the 1st through the 3rd.
his laugh omg
Oh they started to play a Florence + The Machine song. Flo and David, two of my favorite things in one video.
I like how he looks over and stutters and the camera shows a Dalek. :P
Ok, now we need a DT plush doll. You push his tummy and get that fab giggle.
i'm italian and i love doctor who!!!!!!!!!!
@bobjob777 though technically when the person wrote their statement, he was in America he was filming Fright Night here from like August-beginning of October or something similar to that. But he's since gone back and is obviously now back home.

Thanks :) I give you a thumbs up for that. :)
And he's over forty and has been an actor since he was three. It's not like the man has no idea what's he going.
I sincerely hope David is successful at any project that comes his way. The premise of the programme sounds naff to me frankly, but I've been proved quite wrong before. Blackpool and LOM for example - which both had been stellar!!

i like the way he rocks that chair. know what i mean, know what i mean. hehe
Nooo! Don't go David!
You Americans! Don't you dare spoil him! He's too wonderful!
his giggle is so fucking cute!! :3
6:50-6:52 I like the way you move, sir *wiggle with le eyebrow*
AW, he would have been AWESOME in Lark Rise to Candleford:-P
@TeeveesBella I definitely agree. Hollywood sometimes tends to turn brilliant actors into jokes. I would really much rather see him remain in Britian and continue being brilliant than be ruined by Hollywood.
i will kill for that green expo that David is playin' with
I would love for David to be on my tv all the time here in America, but I'm actually a bit glad it didn't work out. It just would'nt feel right if he were on American TV.
his giggle...i think i've died and gone to heaven
PLEASE COME TO AMERICA DAVID! i will find my way to LA!!! (i live in new york it was a fifty fifty chance that he would film here cause they only EVER film in LA or NY)
NBC PLEASE PICK UP REX IS NOT YOUR LAWYER
@MaximAule Don't worry. It was a half-baked idea for a TV show, anyway. There just aren't many great, challenging projects for someone of his considerable talent. :)
His giggle is sooo cute. xx love im to death! *huggles*
@geschreiben well the first part was the only part I was serious about
I hope he will be a succes like hugh laurie in the USA show.
When he laughs.
How about his favorite sandwich. DTs Love sausage
@Ari721 Me neither. I 100% agree w/ U
I agree. Love David, worried about this US move.
@GermanPeoplePerson That was like a year or so ago. He shot a pilot, (about lawyers, I think) but it never got picked up. So he's back. No worries. : )
I'm pretty sure he said "So you'll never be on Doctor Who again?"
Ya mean biscuits, luv. :)
WHAT DO YOU MEAN WATERS OF MARS WASNT TOO SCARY??? THAT SHIT WAS TERRIFYING!

@CaliforniaBlonde000 It's just that actors tend to become "stars" and cease to exist as normal people when they go to the US. I know, it's not the fans fault but still, I'm worried about David going to the US.
What's the "American pilot" he's talking about?
SITCOM? It's a drama, love.
what? what? what?! he's leaving? my comps lagging so i cant finish this interview right now but i've gotten to the part where they're talking about an american sitcom drama? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.. please dont leave, tennant!!! what will the uk do without you?
i wanna watch the pilot.. what was the show called?
I imagined Christian O'Connell having a much wider face
What was the American show called??
@geschreiben well I am guessing it is like Star Trek: it is an adult show but kids love it. I think some of the best Scifi is all ages. Besides, we all know that British kids are so much smarter than us Americans that it probably is seen as being simplistic and childish over there.
Florence!
The pilot would have been picked up by an American network if he had been allowed to use his real accent!
And then the new show didn't happen. T_T
Which is a pity, as it actually had a pretty interesting premise.
And, you know.
David Tennant with an American accent.
6:02
why's everyone upset about David trying to go to America? The pilot was never picked up, so no go to the US for David. I'm not sad or anything, but his american accent was a hard sell.
@CaliforniaBlonde000 Yup, he's a darling. ^^
He was close to staying a bit longer... :(
@geschreiben its for kids and adults unlike torchwood lol

@klbates I think you should deal with your anger management issues elsewhere. I have several American friends but I still think that the English surroundings suit David the best.

"Are you gonna have screentime with Matt Smith". Eh? Really? :D
Those headphones look HUGE on his skinny head.

Rex is Not Your Lawyer.
@klbates Dude, keep your insults to yourself. If you don't agree with me, be civil about it. If it wants to go to American, he can. I was just stating an opinion, I'm perfectly free to do that, and I'd like to do that without be insulted, thanks.

ardent fervor from the fans? clearly that guy has never heard of obsessive fangirls before. [guilty.]
I'm an American, but I'm not gonna lie -- I'm happy the pilot didn't work out. David is far, far too good a person and too talented an actor to be ruined by Hollywood, which is such a terribly toxic environment. Stay in Britain, David! We American fans will find you!
