I am high functioning autistic. I can smell emotions and can feel dramatic things that are going to exist in my world a few days before they happen. I have one daughter that is incredibly gifted with music... every note has a color and a flavor. Synesthesia and psychic abilities are part of a spectrum outside of the trained sensory system. Both my daughter and myself are incredibly exhausted by social interaction. It takes days to recover from a social event. I have 3 daughters... but only this one can i just focus on her with my mind... and she will immediately call me. There is such freedom outside this physical realm.
Beautiful what you have with your one daughter! I beleive we all have this ability, especially us neurodivergents (who do not fit in) and yes, "social interaction" in a noisy environment, a train ride, shopping, all these things, they are indeed so exhausting. If your channels are open, it must be even more so... But what I find tragic is, that mainstream society still insists on us "to fit in" which means "masking" but denies to support neurodivergent people to have the necessary environment, to opitmally operate without the danger of causing so much stress and ultimately burnout.

I now have been diagnosed with leukemia and lymphoma. Both terminal... both likely the result of stress induced un- wellness. Why does the "normal world" force things to be so hard and negative... that it kills the humans that have the information and answers because someone "normal" doesn't want to accept it.
This episode reminds me of the testing done for me in 8th grade; I was failing all my classes so they did an official IQ test, by a proffessor. They didnt tell me my results, the professor thanked me for allowing him to study me, with a card and money inside! I remember the strange shift in the whole school staff's attitude towards me after that. Being treated differently with no explanation did not help me. I still wish they knew WHY I couldn't apply the intelligence in the regular school environment. Not only am I always hearing things nobody else can and able to FEEL everyone elses feelings, including how they feel about me, not to mention the plethora of all the other extra sensory input nobody else seemed to perceive, I was also dissociated so badly from infancy and on that my personality was not whole. I feel others emotions and hear the voices of all my "parts" responding to all the input to help us all navigate the experiences. These testimonies are so validating. ❤

The most vitally important lesson that we, as a species, are starting to learn is from the members of that species who have been shunned, marginalised and ignored by the rest. This is the most important work that can help humanity to understand bigger concepts, and to help change paradigms. We will have to break down walls, and this can help, especially coming from those who are usually seen as non capable, but are in reality more capable than most. These parents and children are so resilient. I have always heard from adult autistic friends that they do not have a lack of feeling and connection. The issue is actually opposite, they feel wayyyyy too much. They are so hyper sensitive to every single thing in their environment. I am not autistic, but I am neurodivergent. I have sensory processing issues that are incredibly disruptive to my life. Things like seams in socks, pills on my clothing, the feeling of cardboard or cold paper, bright artificial lights (florescent most specifically), dissonant sounds, off pitch singing, textures of food, and the list goes on and on. I am also hyper sensitive to the emotional weight in my vicinity. All things considered, it is no stretch of faith for me to believe that individuals on the spectrum would be even more sensitive, clairvoyant even.
It helps to explain the Neurodivergence is any significant brain variation and is like an overarching umbrella that is its own thing but can/does include autism, adhd, dyslexia, dyspraxia, synesthesia as just some of its "spokes".
I hope Katie realizes that she didn't need a miracle. She was the one that created the circumstances for Houston to thrive. That was her hard work. Nobody else's.
I would like to ask Houston, "are you able to help your friends whose abilities are not as strong as yours, to develop them more strongly?" That would be super interesting to know his answer. Thinking about how Houston had witnessed such terrible things and was unable to communicate them to people seems like a hell. I can imagine how difficult it must be to be "trapped" in your body and not even be able to talk to others around you about your thoughts or feelings. I'm so thankful that these parents in all of these were so diligent and never gave up. These kids being able to have a voice is next level. I'm blown away by all of this.

In my own brief experiences with individuals with Schizophrenia I have felt for some time that they are experiencing multiple time line/ planes of existence at once through their senses and it overloads their nervous system. They also respond to imaginal : image sending which I suppose is a form of telepathy. I was in a pharmacy once and a man came up to me who appeared to be schizophrenic and told me that Rob wanted him to tell me hello and that the world was different now. That it had a burning smell. I smiled at him and said hello and acknowledged that yes, the world does smell like that and it’s likely because of all the car exhaust that brings that smell. He seemed satisfied with the answer. Ive long felt that the phenomenon of listening to the radio and thinking of a song randomly, and then flipping through radio stations and poof, the song is there playing, is pattern recognition. In the car or at home, if you are hearing a song on the radio, what's to say that your body doesn't make the association between the music you hear, and the signal that is going through your body as the song is playing? So that when that song is in the airwaves and going through your body, your body recognizes it as that song even when the stereo isn't tuned into it, and your mind thinking of the song, as a result. The body can do amazing things. Fascinating stuff. Thank you.

This is, as James Randi would have said, Flim Flam. *sigh* The fact that so many people eagerly gobble this up is astounding to me. Please, do your homework on telepathy, Clever Hans the horse, Facilitated Communication, Non-Verbal Communication/signaling, mentalism, placebos, and anti-vaxxer Dr. Diane Hennacy Powell. Empathy for people is necessary, and I do appreciate that this podcast does a good job of demonstrating kindness and a willingness to listen to people. However, empathy cannot be a substitute for reality. I'm not suggesting these parents are outright or intentionally lying, but there is a reason we have zero scientific evidence for telepathy. There is a reason none of the very large cash rewards offered for being able to demonstrate these powers scientifically have ever been claimed. Humans have a desire to believe in something bigger than themselves, and to think we're special, but when there is no solid evidence or good reason to believe in such things, it's more important to look for the honest answers and not grab onto what makes you feel like your child is special, or "has powers."
To stay safe from scammers, always be on the lookout for any "tear-jerking" appeals. Then, follow the money. As soon as someone is getting untracked income and making profits, the chances of a scam rise to 100%, regardless of evidence presented, or how likeable the presenters may be. It's supposed to be a charity, not a new-age author trying persuade audiences in order to fob their merch onto crowds of "Believers." So, what's the name of their non-profit charity here? THAT'S a good place to start some debunking.
The book SPIRITS OF THE EARTH by Bobby Lake Thom explains this type of communication that was so naturally used by our ancestors, who were still attuned to Mother Nature. (btw Native Americans used to speak VERY LITTLE ) I think, modern language, which we are so proud of as a sign of our superiority, erm I see it as a barrier, that prevents us from accessing this other type of communication. I’ve had unexplainable psychic abilities since childhood. I wasn’t diagnosed with autism till my adult years due to parents who just wanted to think I was a bad kid. I believe you guys are doing this in earnest, and if all this is true, it's incredibl. I hope it is. However, If you guys want to be taken seriously, you need to back off of the fillings picking up the radio angle. That's not how radio waves work. The waves are not the song. They need to be translated by small electronic devices inside of the radio so the speaker can put out mechanical waves that our ears can hear. I'm not saying that she didn't hear anything, but she sure didn't hear the actual music. She is trying to tell a good story. 3:23 Edit: the guy that was just hearing voices in his head makes a lot more sense because it's going to be noise to the human ear if audible. You definitely can not pick up radio signals and have it play as music through your teeth and straight into your ears.

It's fascinating, and I'm entirely open to the possibility of it being real. However, there is a thing that needs to happen, which I am sure Dr. Powell has realised. The possibility of any cueing by the mother to the child has to be entirely removed from the situation before it can be formally demonstrated as telepathy. I realise the child bonds with the mother, but unfortunately, this IS a loophole in the technical validity of the conclusions. The mother or other communicating individual needs to be in a separate non-communicating room. They signal by an electrical device (eg blinking light) to the living room or experiment room when they are ready for the child to read the word/number/picture. I had a mixture of excitement but frustration watching the tests, because this crucial loophole wasn't being closed. This way no one who has actually seen the target can communicate it, even in principle, by unconscious physiological cueing. Unless you do this, the skeptics are ALWAYS going to come back to it. While it is impressive that the child cannot see the cue directly, again, you must eliminate possible cueing from the parent or communicator. If you do not, again, this is a free gift to the skeptics.

My son is dyslexic, adhd, with sensory processing disorder, but he can see things in 3D that we cannot, there’s really something to this, I believe, this is a new step into human evolution, and it includes spirituality

These parents and children are so resilient. I have always heard from adult autistic friends that they do not have a lack of feeling and connection. The issue is actually opposite, they feel wayyyyy too much. They are so hyper sensitive to every single thing in their environment. I am not autistic, but I am neurodivergent. I have sensory processing issues that are incredibly disruptive to my life. Things like seams in socks, pills on my clothing, the feeling of cardboard or cold paper, bright artificial lights (florescent most specifically), dissonant sounds, off pitch singing, textures of food, and the list goes on and on. I am also hyper sensitive to the emotional weight in my vicinity. All things considered, it is no stretch of faith for me to believe that individuals on the spectrum would be even more sensitive, clairvoyant even.
It helps to explain the Neurodivergence is any significant brain variation and is like an overarching umbrella that is its own thing but can/does include autism, adhd, dyslexia, dyspraxia, synesthesia as just some of its "spokes".
I hope Katie realizes that she didn't need a miracle. She was the one that created the circumstances for Houston to thrive. That was her hard work. Nobody else's.
I would like to ask Houston, "are you able to help your friends whose abilities are not as strong as yours, to develop them more strongly?" That would be super interesting to know his answer.
Thinking about how Houston had witnessed such terrible things and was unable to communicate them to people seems like a hell. I can imagine how difficult it must be to be "trapped" in your body and not even be able to talk to others around you about your thoughts or feelings. I'm so thankful that these parents in all of these were so diligent and never gave up. These kids being able to have a voice is next level. I'm blown away by all of this.

Agreed! In my own brief experiences with individuals with Schizophrenia I have felt for some time that they are experiencing multiple time line/ planes of existence at once through their senses and it overloads their nervous system. They also respond to imaginal : image sending which I suppose is a form of telepathy. I was in a pharmacy once and a man came up to me who appeared to be schizophrenic and told me that Rob wanted him to tell me hello and that the world was different now. That it had a burning smell. I smiled at him and said hello and acknowledged that yes, the world does smell like that and it’s likely because of all the car exhaust that brings that smell. He seemed satisfied with the answer. Nodded and walked away.

Ive long felt that the phenomenon of listening to the radio and thinking of a song randomly, and then flipping through radio stations and poof, the song is there playing, is pattern recognition.
In the car or at home, if you are hearing a song on the radio, what's to say that your body doesn't make the association between the music you hear, and the signal that is going through your body as the song is playing? So that when that song is in the airwaves and going through your body, your body recognizes it as that song even when the stereo isn't tuned into it, and your mind thinking of the song, as a result.
The body can do amazing things.

This is, as James Randi would have said, Flim Flam. *sigh* The fact that so many people eagerly gobble this up is astounding to me. Please, do your homework on telepathy, Clever Hans the horse, Facilitated Communication, Non-Verbal Communication/signaling, mentalism, placebos, and anti-vaxxer Dr. Diane Hennacy Powell.
Empathy for people is necessary, and I do appreciate that this podcast does a good job of demonstrating kindness and a willingness to listen to people. However, empathy cannot be a substitute for reality. I'm not suggesting these parents are outright or intentionally lying, but there is a reason we have zero scientific evidence for telepathy. There is a reason none of the very large cash rewards offered for being able to demonstrate these powers scientifically have ever been claimed. Humans have a desire to believe in something bigger than themselves, and to think we're special, but when there is no solid evidence or good reason to believe in such things, it's more important to look for the honest answers and not grab onto what makes you feel like your child is special, or "has powers."
To stay safe from scammers, always be on the lookout for any "tear-jerking" appeals. Then, follow the money. As soon as someone is getting untracked income and making profits, the chances of a scam rise to 100%, regardless of evidence presented, or how likeable the presenters may be. It's supposed to be a charity, not a new-age author trying persuade audiences in order to fob their merch onto crowds of "Believers."
So, what's the name of their non-profit charity here? THAT'S a good place to start some debunking.

I think, modern language, which we are so proud of as a sign of our superiority, erm I see it as a barrier, that prevents us from accessing this other type of communication. We have lost this capacity or are domesticated "out of it".

I’ve had unexplainable psychic abilities since childhood. I wasn’t diagnosed with autism till my adult years due to parents who just wanted to think I was a bad kid. Anyway, it was recently discovered that I have elevated levels of copper in my blood. Copper as we all know is an amazing conductor. I’m going out on a limb here and saying that I’d bet most if not all ESP abilities may be facilitated by or assisted by this elevated level of a known conductor. They need to be translated by small electronic devices inside of the radio so the speaker can put out mechanical waves that our ears can hear. It's fascinating, and I'm entirely open to the possibility of it being real. However, there is a thing that needs to happen, which I am sure Dr. Powell has realised. The possibility of any cueing by the mother to the child has to be entirely removed from the situation before it can be formally demonstrated as telepathy. I realise the child bonds with the mother, but unfortunately, this IS a loophole in the technical validity of the conclusions. The mother or other communicating individual needs to be in a separate non-communicating room. They signal by an electrical device (eg blinking light) to the living room or experiment room when they are ready for the child to read the word/number/picture. I had a mixture of excitement but frustration watching the tests, because this crucial loophole wasn't being closed. This way no one who has actually seen the target can communicate it, even in principle, by unconscious physiological cueing. Unless you do this, the skeptics are ALWAYS going to come back to it. While it is impressive that the child cannot see the cue directly, again, you must eliminate possible cueing from the parent or communicator. If you do not, again, this is a free gift to the skeptics.
