I remember when I 1st got my Gambler! I’ve been driving boats since I was 5 years old with my dad. It took me 3 years of seat time before I could really handle it! Now it’s cake! So anyone who gets a high performance bass boat, just take it easy, life on the water changes at about 75mph, and just keeps getting harder after that! The small steering adjustments are a must to keep the boat stable! So anyone who gets one, please be careful, it takes time to learn how to go that fast! Remember to keep the nose down at 1st, it’s no joke! Plus keep your jack plate in a normal position till you start to learn to lift it! Best to find someone to help show you how to drive one of these boats! Good luck! It’s no joke going 90+mph
Imagine if you time travel with this boat and the Native Americans we’re just paddling down the river in a canoe and saw a big orange boat fly past them at 100 mph
I love bass fishing as much as the next guy . I don't need to run 100 mph to be the first one to the spot. 80 is all I need to run without any body protection. Boats and airplanes don't have brakes. I've been in a couple of close calls where guys are running back canals through cattails and don't slow down at all when they come to major 4 way intersections. Thank God I had enough sense to stop before crossing. Me and my partner would both be dead now if I hadn't. (Twice now).. Worst place to be if you always assume things. Stay safe out there gang
Its March 2022..and Im crying and laughing at the same time..crying over the fuel being spent every mph accumulated, and laughing cause Im in awe of watching a bass boat fly...❤🇨🇦
First off I wanted this boat literally for years. I have a special orderd orange ram 2500 regular cab lifted 38's I wanted orange and black with silver pin striping. Now I'm ready to place my order but I'm trying to get some details. What is your set back? Are you running the 15.25 32 five blade cleaver lab or similar. I've seen what looks like the Bob's machine hydrolic jack plate. If you could help me with a few details it would save me a good bit of money when ordering mine. Thank you.
I know there was a guy with a 21x boat running close to 2.5” above, no that’s not a typo. Don’t know how S boats compare to x boats but from what I’ve seen they should be comparable
Geez; the 72 mph I get in my Phoenix to me is getting into the realm of too fast for me on the water and if I go wide open with my wife in the boat, she will lose her damn mind. No fucking way I would be doing 102 on the water. No thank you. There is no where on the water I need to get to that fast.
A buddy of mine wat near St. Charles Missouri on the Mississippi river one day. He was on a friend's boat amd his friend was driving. He like this yahoo had a nees for speed. The passenger asked tue driver to slow down several times. Only to be told this is how tournament fishermen drive. They it a 4 inch diameter log about 8 feet long. Cracked the lower unit causing a catastrophic failure of the lowwr unit at about 65 miles per hour. John said it was like hitting a wall. He had 1200 stiches in his ass from the trolling motor prop. Hif friend was nearly gutted by the steering wheel. All totaled it was 300 grand in medical bills and a 50 thousand dollar boat totaled. And a 20 year friendship ruined. All because this is how tournament fishermen drive. Hope to fuck you stay away from me.
You obviously don’t know bullet boats very well… my builder has a 97 300 pro max on the back and has no problem getting to 100 mph faster than anything you’d bring to the table lol. With a 100 shot of nitrous it’s in the 110ish range but he’s afraid to go any faster as it’s not even in the water at that speed 🤣🤣
Oh yeah Mr j wood ,many times over a 100 in a bullet ,there are several round here that will do it,,,,by gps,,,, mine will hit 98 on a good run ,just need more rpm. 20 vee, modified 225 pro max, gear case custom, props vary😁
The micro steering adjustments were impressive. Far more dangerous than it looks folks.
chine walking at 100 is sphincter tightening i would imagine!
Ya. Especially for other people on the water.

Too bad driving to work wasn’t that much fun. Thanks for the ride along. 🚀
Seeing that floater at 1:40 about gave me a heart attack
Your boat runs awesome. Just after Christmas I tried to race you in my lake and bay in-front of harney pond canal!
Holy hell that is ripping!! I hope my Triton will do 3/4 that whe it's done!
That’s my dream boat color is sick I have pictures on my phone of it when I decide to buy a new one I have a 94 xrd
I thought 82 in my 2003 BCB Cougar was fast. Well done!
Good running man! My boat is capable of that but I'm a bit chicken to stretch it out.... lol
I love bass fishing as much as the next guy .

Badass! I love that color too
Just keep admiring the set-up, is that cleaver mercury's new $6,000.00 prop made for the 300R?
Hill signature cleaver prop.

A couple of "oh 💩 here goes yhe chine walk" but you steadied it back out. Well done.
The poor skier.
Can we all assume this is a Merc???
Merc V8 300R
I wish he would have displayed the gas gauge along side the MPH. 😁
She really going fast and furious
Can you share with me what bracket you are using for your Simrad electronics. Clean look.
Trimmed, cut, notched modified the original bracket made it work 👍
Simrad 103 GoPro 102? Are both based off of GPS?
@@jimmielittle877 yes
Nice run, wish we could see the speed-o better.
If you know boats, you know he’s not lying, you can tell!
No logs!
No Whammies!
MERCURY (of course) 🌊 🌊 🔥 🔥 🔥
🙂
Runs good, huge improvement, is it the jack plate? How high are you with the plate at top speed?
.......
I know there was a guy with a 21x boat running close to 2.5” above, no that’s not a typo. Don’t know how S boats compare to x boats but from what I’ve seen they should be comparable
2.5" above the pad
Just imagine how much faster he could went if he dropped that trolling motor in
lol
Very nice!!!!

Who said anything about “needing” to go that fast? We didn’t need to go to the moon either.
@@JonBecker81 We never went to the moon.
talk about smoke on the water dam that's killer .love the color
Awesome one does it cause one can

Myxb02 has been to 108
15mph downstream current
Not for the weak, need some seat time to get that performance from any boat.....
Seat time and set up #1 You are correct
nice
I’d hate to see that ulttera auto deploy
What prop? Pitch?
5 blade Hill cleaver
Dam son!
My bass boat does 51mph and that's plenty fast for me. Not to bad for an 18ft aluminum
I made it up to 70 then got really scared chopped the throttle do it back down to 50
Nice boat but that bullet has to work hard to hit top speed compared to some other fast brands !!
You obviously don’t know bullet boats very well… my builder has a 97 300 pro max on the back and has no problem getting to 100 mph faster than anything you’d bring to the table lol. Let's see you catch a fish at 102 mph.
A little out of balance, BUT awesome nice run😎
Almost rock steady at 100mph+ but you think he's a little "Out of balance"...Bet you've never been over 70 in a bass boat. lol.
Oh yeah Mr j wood ,many times over a 100 in a bullet ,there are several round here that will do it,,,,by gps,,,, mine will hit 98 on a good run ,just need more rpm. 20 vee, modified 225 pro max, gear case custom, props vary😁
In slick water like he’s running in..that’s one fine piece of driving !! It’s harder to keep steady in that glass….
Sweet!
I have a pink one.
Wow runs good but not necessary very dangerous to others
I call BS
Why waist so much time trying to go this fast? Just get a cigarette go fast boat and quit wasting time on a bass boat to go over 100.
It’s way to much fun !! Then drop the trolling motor and start sticking bass !!
