- Ghosts can come in a variety of forms, many of them being outright fantastical. But some of the most widespread, and some of the most chilling, appear as a beautiful woman in a flowing white dress...the White Lady!

There is a legend of the White Lady also called the hanging lady . On Garland Bottom Rd in Chester County Tennessee. We have all seeing her hanging fron a bridge on foggy night even though the bridges was torn down . She is still seen.
Can you do ghost stories of the old west?
I'm quite certain that at this point of so many decades of all forms of portable cameras we would have captured some good ghost footage if they were real events in the physical world. however i'm not entirely convinced that they are just imagination and storytelling either, as it could just as well be that ghosts are something that haunts us at the spiritual level, only manifesting to the targeted person in their subjective experience alone, only appearing as if they were real parts of the physical world we share with other people. being indeed something real and external to ourselves behind the hallucination, but (truly) not part of the physical world.
I do believe that ghosts being so prominent in all cultures around the world across the time and distance they should not be dismissed just as fiction, as it is not any way obvious why the same so specific concept emerged over and over again without any connection between the cultures.
I thought i thought up paranormall people useing specific stuff to hide so people assume their fake so they can hide for some reason 1st!!!!
Yes=every1 has ghost stories=phycoligy=archatypes,
the heros journy.
I also believe to and i believe in all the creatures in mythology and folklore and gods and goddess
@@connorricketts1323 worth to remember that the limitations of our ability to research does not shape the reality. we are living inside the biggest mystery ever, that cannot be explained by our current understanding.
@@Eye_Exist definitely true
Can you do a video talking about Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde?
I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to hear that!
I thought that was covered in a previous video, you might try the channel’s playlists
The White Lady doesn't reside solely on roads; they also reside in houses. She is often ambiguous in her nature; sometimes she is malevolent, sometimes she is kind and protective.
I should know, since my late father's ancestral house had a White Lady who often appeared at the top of the stairs and pushed people down the stairs - me being one of them. I ended up using a crutch for almost 2 months as a result.
There was also a white lady at my cousin's home who often appeared as if warning whoever she appeared to about impending danger.
The Italian Bride protecting children is really sweet; her motherly instinct clearly persists beyond death.
@Mythology Unleashed have you considered doing a video on different types of lizard man from urban legends to myths?
There's a white lady ('bílá paní' in czech) said to appear in and around the Krumlov castle (Czechia). According to the legend, she used to be Perchta of Rožmberk (real historical figure) who was married of to Jan of Lichtenstein to resolve her family's money issues. But he psychologically abused her, forced her to live in a room without heating and bedding and for some reason even his mother and sisters abused her verbally too. When he was dying, he asked Perchta for forgivness which she refused to give him so he cursed her and now she has to roam the castle halls for eternity.
There's a few French White Ladies (or "dames blanches"), and the one I know best is a vanishing hitchhiker who waits at a bus stop in front of Caen's hospital (she may have died on the D7 departmental road in 1970, either while hitchhiking or in an ambulance depending on the legends). She'll be discreet during the start of the drive to Luc-sur-Mer (her destination), until they encounter a specific turn in the road the Lady will warn them about, only to disappear thereafter.
We have a White Lady legend here in the one mountain area of my home town. There's two different versions of her story, the one i know was she died the night of her wedding and every night she looks for her husband, sometimes getting into peoples cars.
I’m so surprised and did not see this coming. All my life I have never seen a ghost, not even the White Lady, but I feel chills down to my spine whenever I hear a ghost story.
I absolutely love stories about certain types of ghosts.
Theorosa and her infamous bridge is the Kansas Lady in White.
Great video! The White Lady was nicely portrayed in an early Supernatural episode.
I believe it was literally the first episode.
"Take me home..." ☠️
Your pronunciation of Brazillian Portuguese is amazing. Even the sounds that doesn't exist in English
My school had a white lady, a woman wearing a 19th Century nightgown who died after falling down the stairs (some said being pushed down the stairs) in the building when it was her family's home. She haunted the elevator shaft that replaced the stairs, and apart from giving the maintenance workers a scare every now and again was harmless. But many people said they had seen her walking down the now non-existent stairs, then stumble and fall: repeating her last moments, apparently.
I saw a ghostly woman in a house I lived in. She was taking a bath.
Thank you for the video I have heard of a couple of these Legends. There is also one in the Dark Woods of West Virginia about a woman in white.
Time to call, Sam and Dean Winchester! 😁😆
As a Filipino American, thank you for mentioning about the white lady in The Philippines especially The White Lady of Balete Drive. It's an enduring ghost story amongst Filipinos, and I know of several who have encountered a white lady. My Dad apparently saw one as a kid when he was living in the remote areas of Samar in The Philippines. He waved at her and she waved back! Creepy as hell.
Had chills from beginning to end of the narrative. Very well done, I enjoyed this video. Ah. Adrian's music work is part of my chills. Very nice. 😊
I love how they worked this legend into Skyrim as the Pale Lady ❄️
Terrific episode!
I find it amazing that in legends all over the world, women dressed in all white are a threat to those who meet them, either a consuming ghost, like yuki onna or often a mother struck by tragedy, sometimes even caring a crying, shapeshifting child with them. There's one from japanese mythology and one from Thailand- I forgot their names.
I guess those stories origin from the vague feelings of guilt of men towards women and their subconscious fear, they one day will come for them to punish them for how bad they had treated women in their life and also created by women who lost their children to unknown causes and wanted to blame a supernatural entity for it.
Have you ever heard of the Slide-Rock Bolter ? A monstrous whale from the mountains of Colorado.
Sounds interesting to me
How?
love folklore and mythology love this
The first time I heard about it was from Supernatural show where Sam & Dean fought one.
Yup. That was the first episode.
How nice of the Chicago White Lady. I have seen an exploration video where a woman in white was caught walking in the woods, unbeknownst to the paranormal hunters at the time. Quite uncanny, but very intriguing. People are too afraid to approach them, but I wonder . . what if you sent a robot out?
Can you do scary legends of more cities?
Yuki onna is cool if she counts. Also asian horror films added a lot to the white lady conon.
Would Sadako count?
@@fanficfreak2113 maybe, films could inspire folklore
❤
so she became a vengeful spirit is that right.
I have two digital photos of her (or someone/something fitting this description) from an older (LG G2) cellphone. I know for certain it is completely un-doctored, absolutely visible in both images and was only noticed several years after it was taken, amidst dark circumstances. Completely inexplicable and among the most unsettling things I have ever seen/experienced.
Resurrection Mary Chicago has more than one Lady in white.
I always thought that the "white lady" was a reference to cocaine. Great video.🌹💜🌍
I feel like “La Llorona” is way spookier than “white lady/lady in white”.
Agreed lol, English is not at pretty as the Romance languages at all
Woodstock Wanda.
that is fucking terrifying
Don't forget the ghost soldiers from the last which I heard rumors about it?
The famous ghost 👻 of the Philippines 🇵🇭
i swear to god i saw her
Pretty much every name in a foreign language sounds cooler than “White Lady” or “Lady in White”.
