Devistating to see the furture MVP go down like that the teams gonna have to step up to hold onto this wildcard spot, Moore looks like hes doing his part as the replacement tho holy smokes. I think if we can sneak into the wildcard spot that Crochet trade is gonna look really good but if not its a pretty massive gamble with brooks having such high potential, I have faith tho. Theres no huge rush to get Davila to the Show but it might be good to give him AAA time before the season ends just to see at 80 OVR what he does there, he could make it up pretty quick I think. Keep the series coming its one of the highlights of the day!
Yeah I think it’s a gamble to get Crochet, especially since he is really just a rental, but I think making the playoffs is a priority at this point. We need to put fans in the stands, which is a big storyline of this series. Ticket sales were a big reason the Expos were relocated originally

I just don’t think trading A potential draft picks is a fun idea for a rebuilding series where you’re trying to build around and with homegrown talent. I would’ve got Mayza then signed Crochet to a deal in FA.
I get it but realistically, it takes high end prospects to get elite guys at certain positions. I kinda reference trades in the past for relief pitchers, for example Josh Hader, which took 4 prospects to get him. I think realistically, I could’ve traded 2 Bs for Crochet or 1 B and 2 Cs for him

Mitchell doesn't walk enough or hit for enough power to really be a long term answer imo along with him being slow. Cool story but hes a bit overrated imo
Personally why not trade for even n move him down. You have older similar players. His stats and potential suggest he could be better. I'd the outfield is very sus to me
I get it but we have to trust the development of our young players too, I don’t want to take advantage of the game as well. Even though our young outfielders are struggling, realistically, u don’t just trade guys after 1 down season or 1 slump.
