I just got through paying my NISSAN Ultima off last yr it started with this issue about a yr. Ago had transmission fluid flushed still having issues with P0841 code this is the Worst car Ever DONT BUY ANY NISSIAN PRODUCT YOU WILL REGRET IT
Yes, if you clear the code.. The car has to be driven, and if the judder isn't detected during that drive cycle.. The code will go away.. But, it's usually due to the belt slipping, and once it slips.. it will continue to slip until repaired or replaced.
@@solo1racing Sure I did.. I said, it's usually due to the belt slipping, and to fix it, the transmission would need to be repaired or replaced. That's it. You could try a fluid drain and fill, it might help somewhat.

My 2015 Nissan Altima with 89,000 miles just started jerking while driving at 40mph. I friend of mine installed his car computer and the code P0841 came up.
I got the same code and symptoms on my rogue 2015. Not sure how to fix it. Have been drying for a week with no improvement after transmission oil replaced
Got a nissan sentra 2005, and omg, this car has almost 500k with original motor and transmission and still runs strong bc it's got the timing chain and no cvt Trans in it either. Only nissan I'll buy is the sentra. We got a 2015 lexus is350 and they're made by Toyota in Japan and we got it with 80k miles and now has 180k and not one problem with it. BEST BUY EVER! @@307alsaadi4 i have heard many cases like this solved with changeing trans oil and filter the paper1 andf metal1 as well when the paper filter gets dirty it will obstruct oil to reach where it spose to reach
Confirmed on my 2015 Altima CVT with 300K km. Replaced trans oil 3 times (only 50% of the old stuff drains out unless you use special equipment), meaning 88% new fluid. The old fluid was black and there was judder after a long drive. The new fluid is clear with a green tint, the cooler is too hot to touch and the judder is gone. The reason is that CVT fluid contains friction modifiers that help the belt grip the pulleys. Old fluid - especially if its been cooked due to the poor standard intercooler - loses the modifiers over time and mileage resulting is the belt losing grip and slipping. Make sure the shop knows what its doing. Not all mechanics are familiar with CVTs. Make sure the shop uses compatible CVT fluid and NOT ATF. And make sure they set the level correctly. I did it myself as a relatively competent amateur. Cost about 200$ altogether in fluid and like 70$ for a cooler kit from Amazon. Better than 4K for a new transmission. Unless the CVT unit is too far gone of course then you're SOL.

Fluid flushes rarely solve transmission issues, so rarely that I have not ever seen it before!
@@thisisyourtransmission so I need to replace transmission same code in getting now finns just trade it in
Fix to this problem is DONT BUY NISSAN
I swear I r right fk Nissan

The only reason a belt will slip is if it does not have enough clamping pressure. However, still no one has been able to find the reason yet.
You told us absolutely nothing on how to fix this issue... waste of time..

Has anyone tried just replacing the transmission control module?
I replaced both with low miles after 1000 miles the code showed up on this one
P17F0 means needs a transmission no questions, P17F1 means you need to drop the valve body and inspect the belt with a camera.
we are going to find the demons in this transmission eventually.
What about p0841?
Hey what is P17F2? please help!
There is actually a sensor inside on top of transmission needs to be replaced to and updated
@Megan did you find out about that code yet? I'm still looking
Mine with 47000 miles shows the same code but with no shake or shudder or judder its acting perfectly fine ? any advise what should i do ?
You probably drove it off by now
Ppl with P0841 it’s your transmission switch/sensor
Machine shop i worked at made the parts on nissan trans.... Quality control was awful... nissam titans rear-end going to have a major recall also.
So what is the solution or fix for the p0841 code?

@guscruz5076 I changed the oil and filters and the problem did not solve 😅
What is the point of u making the video to tell people to change the transmission but the problem still exists

The best solution is to simply replace the entire car. Renault has never been synonymous with well built automobiles.

chances are with these new cvts, it is a transmission problem.
Where is the transmission pressure sensor located!?
The pressure switches are located on the valvebody.
I just had a p0841 transmission fluid sensor switch code throw on my car at 100,027 miles!
Most likely it is a transmission problem.

Yes, the older nissans with no cvt transmission are the best!
That's from a belt slip in the transmission.
I might to call Nissan and see if w mine warranty powertrain they can fix it for me
Nissan I understand, is trying to trying not to honor there warranties so I hear.
When putting a low mileage transmission do i have to reprogram it?

add transmition cooler and change the fluid and paper filter
