Banjo Kazooie has so much content for a game in 1998, it makes super Mario 64 seem lacking!
Disagree. The games are equally entertaining and equally broken in my opinion. SM64 has more categories (and arguably much more extreme glitches) but BK has much better routing and importantly a much larger RTA runner community. Seeing Cronikeys execute RBA blew my mind in a way only matched by Pannenkoek hyperspeed buttstomping a scuttlebug to fly into a star for ABC

The part that amazes me the most is how he jumped into shark infested waters in Treasure Trove Cove without the MASS PANIC ATTACK I seemed to drown in every time I heard that haunting Jaws music.

As a kid I found this game very long, was surprise when a classmate said his father beat the whole game in a couple of hours.
Took me 5 years to beat the game because i was so stupid back then i kept pressing delete button for no reason and the funny part is it doesn't ask you "are yo sure you wanna delete your game"

I never beat it as a kid for whatever reason. I finally beat it at the ripe old age of 28.

@@lordrob13 What a great question. It's because of certain allegations against him. There's a video on YT about it. If Stiv never got banned from the leaderboard and community he would be #1 without a doubt.
Last few years I've been making noises from this game but I never realised where I got it from until I stumbled across these Banjo Kazooie vids lol those noises must've been engrained since my childhood, that's how good this game is!
Im happy this game is so relevant till this day, a good old classic from 1998, i love the community
I think the most impressive thing about this...beside obviously knowing where everything is and the order in which to do them for optimized speed. Is the freaking accuracy in which he does everything. Running/jumping full speed across small bridges, tops of houses, shooting eggs from odd angles without looking at the target, dive bombing from across the freaking world. It's all crazy to see.

I just finished this game along with Banjo Tooie recently, it was super nostalgic because I forgot most of it from when I was a kid. I'm super into it now and this was my first time watching you run. It was awesome and I'd love to see more

How were you able to use the fast shoes before learning them in Gobi's Valley?
I had the same doubt (talon trot before learning it in mumbo's mountain). Turns out there's a glitch that is known as Furnace Fun Moves or something like that. It's in the description of the video.

Right when he enters Mumbo’s Mountain, I see him immediately go into a Talon Trot. Keep in mind that he has never spoken to bottles in the area or anything. How does he have the move???

Furnace fun glitch take moves from another file to a new one, the glitch activates when you enter mumbos mountain, the only reason he doesnt learn eggs/flying early is for the free resources bottles gives you

had so much fun playing this game when i was a kid at my cousins, always had a chipped ps1 as a kid that played copied games used to get a list of games i can choose to get for cheap but i always wanted a n64 purely for banjo kazooie, banjo tooie and golden eye but by dad said since the games was expensive back then we never did get one, i did buy one when i was an adult though lol fun times

why ist the Platform on 8:31 activated? you wasnt in the world where you can activate it
A glitch known as furnace fun moves allows for the transfer of moves from one file to another by causing storage overlap when you die in a furnace fun mini game square. The death causes some kind of storage overlap and the moves from the file you die on transfer to the new file and soon as you enter Mumbo’s mountain

It took me an hour and a half with 6 deaths in rusty bucket bay to complete it. This man was there for 10 mins with 100% completion
In what sections are there still potential time saves? Grunty’s Furnace Fun obviously with getting the big skip glitch with the death square faster, and perhaps a slightly faster Grunty fight at the end. Is a sub 1:58 possible?

Hi again Stivitybobo, I just watched your whole entire speed run video and now I'm following your footsteps except I have a major life problem! How did you do that where you entered Freezeezy peak without solving it's puzzle pic? Is that some glitch or cheat you're using? I tried over and over again on what you did and died 7 times wasted 7 lives trying to get it (which is why I said I have a major life problem) and I can't seem to get it!
It’s a pretty precise trick called “FP early” it’s hard to explain but you can search up a tutorial 👍

i dont know if anyone else has discovered this but when i was playing this game i discovered an interesting thing. you only have to raise the water to level 1 to enter rusty bucket bay. after doing so you go in the room with mad monster mansion puzzle and destroy the door and it leads you to the room with the rusty bucket puzzle
