To add to all the comments about the cannon rush - if you dont see it early enough like it happened here, all you had to do was prevent him from getting high ground vision. If you pulled your first marine to the left side and just shot the probe each time it came up, the cannons wouldn't have done anything. Still good effort for seeing it the first time :)
Yo this is huuuuge, I appreciate this a lot as i would have never have thought of that! I would have gotten the tank out and that would have really changed things up! Thanks for taking the time to check out the video and leaving a comment! GGs always!
Amazing i will give this a try in my next game, whats the point in sending the scout if its too early haha May as well not scout at all and gather minerals. GGs
Yo Chris, thank you so much! That's really nice of you to say! I really enjoy playing that game, and would love to get to those higher levels of game play. Hopefully I'll get there in a couple of months or so idk haha watch this space! GGs and thanks so much for checking out he videos and taking the time to leave a comment!
I think the best way to defend a cannon rush is to notice it early enough to a move your workers on the pylon. At least 3-4 scvs on it. I'm not sure what else you could have done after the first cannon is finished without having more units by that point. I think you would have been good if you had shift clicked the scv around your natural on the way to scout their natural.
yep, you need to pull scvs, and you need to manage to kill the probe. i believe its 4 workers on the pylon as its building will kill it, then you need to chase the probe with a worker while trying to micro one or 2 to kill it off. once the cannons start hitting production facilities its really hard to come back from.
4 workers kills a cannon before it can finish building. So if they've got two cannon's building you want to pull 8 SCV's eventually they'll either cancel it or you'll kill it at which point you start getting more and more ahead as long as you're still building SCVs. It takes a lot of practice to be able to react well, but you'll get there!
I made this comment before watching the video. Having watched it, my suggestion would be to focus on the building cannon's rather than the pylon. They have less health, die faster and have a similar build time. A cannon w/o a pylon can be powered up pretty quickly by them just building two more pylons. A pylon w/o a cannon is useless. If you had killed the cannons in your main as thy were building and popped out a tank eventually you could have potentially pulled that win out.
Sorry for the billion comments, I'm going through and looking up numbers just to double check what I said is accurate and Pylon build time is 18s vs Cannon at 29 seconds. Pylon health is 200/200 and Cannon health is 150/150. So at 10 Seconds a warping in Pylon has about 100 health (200/2), while at 10 seconds a cannon has 50 health (150/3).

Commenting for the algorithm. GGs!
RE: "Maybe I'm scouting too early." Use the scv that builds the barracks to scout. It's a good timing for the "Are they expanding?" question.
What a legend!!

You are much better than silver lol if you just clicked your macro hotkeys more and took better fights you could easily make master

Also, cannon's are more expensive than pylons so it wastes their money faster if you kill those.
