This video is the best I've found. No useless chit chat, only what's necessary. A table of content in the description with links to the right time for each part would be awesome though.
Thanks so much for putting this series together. I just bought a pre=owned from KEH and really just depended on your concise tutorials to learn how to use it. Thanks again!
Thanks for letting me know it help! There is more videos to come with more details about the system, also planned to do a video on Digital Backs too. Enjoy your baby!
Thanks for this helpful video. I’d like to purchase instead of a new digital camera but I was a bit scared how this beast works. After several video, there is little chance to use it in the wrong way thanks to plenty of locks. I’m falling in love with Mamiya
V. Gil 😅 I actually made it just to show that the camera I was trying to sale on eBay was working fine. I do have a video tutorial series about the RZ where I cover pretty much EVERYTHING on this camera.
LoL omg people still watching this video. I have a whole Video Manual series about this camera explaining every single thing of it. =D Thanks for the comment!
To be honest, this is just a vid I made to sale this camera on eBay. I had an extra one. What is so good about this video? I do have a complete series of videos where I do explain EVERY SINGLE FEATURE of the RZ.
Quick question, Does it require a battery inserted into the camera in order to view thru the waist level finder? I just got mine today and im trying to view thru the finder however its not showing anything..maybe i need a battery? Thank you
Thank you kindly for your comment. I will definitively do some few comments next videos. Sent you a Message in youtube. Feel free to contact me on Facebook as well
Dylan K it’s not a cellphone or a simple DSLR but that has never stopped great photographers like Annie Leibovitz or Markus Klinko to use it on their projects. Definitively not a sports or weddings shooter camera.
Hello; I have a question regarding the Mamiya RB67 PRO II camera. When I have the phase one adapter for light attached to the back of the camera and plugged in I see an orange light which stays lit in the view finder. What does this red light mean and how can it be corrected? Thanks
+Maxitikos Thank you so much for the message. First of all I am not a representative from Mamiya or Phase One, but I can try to help with the experience I have using their products. Your question is regarding the Mamiya rB67 pro ii? There is not such a thing, the rB model is different than the rz pro and the rz pro ii Since you are talking about lights on the display I take it that you mean the r Z 67 pro ii, since the RB is fully mechanical and has no led or sound indicators. Second, You have a "Phase one adapter, for light?" I will assume that you mean a Phase One adapter for a Digital Back. There are several versions of this plates, I know that one needs a small modification on the RZ67 Pro II Body that can only be done by a Mamiya Certified person. About the light, the RZ67 Pro II comes with 3 lights, a Green an Orange and a Red one. You said you have an orange one that stays ON But then you ask what does the RED light means? I will write for both Orange and Red light warnings: Red Lamp : • When it glows it indicates that: • The dark slide has not been withdrawn. • The camera battery is good. When the dark slide is withdrawn the light will go out. • If then the monitor lamp blinks, accompanied by the electronic warning sound, it shows that the battery is weak and should be replaced. Orange Lamp: • When it glows it indicates that: • The cocking lever has not been advanced or • The roll film holder has not been advanced. (Does not apply when in multi exposure "M" mode.) If you are using it for a digital back, which back you are using and what mount does the back come for? Mamiya Mount? Hasselblad-V Mount? Hasselblad-H Mount? Hope it helps. Let me know if you need more information.
+Julio Ryuuzaki Thanks Julio. Yes, this camera has RB67 on it and it has PRO II written above the lens mount to the right. I do not know if it has been modified at all, however this is what is written on it. Yes, there is a Phase One adapter for a digital back and the orange light goes on when the adapter is on. I thought it went on only when the adapter was attached but i may be because the cocking lever was not advanced properly because the orange light does not come on now. The back comes for a Mamiya Mount. I'm not sure what mount the back comes for since I do not have it with me right now. Thanks for you input!
+Maxitikos It could be that the View finder is for the RB but the body is an RZ since it has lights, the RB does not use batteries or have electrical stuff. does the focusing knob on the right side have two knobs? one for fine focus? If so, that can only be an RZ67 Pro II Body. I have used the Phase One adapter, but the thing I didn't like about it, is that it does not rotate with the R mode of the camera and to rotate your digital back you have to Unplug it and turn it and Plug it again, so if you are outdoors and is windy or dusty good luck not getting particles on the sensor. I am using an adapter plate for the RZ67 Pro II D with a Mamiya mount, and that allows me to turn the digital back with the R mode of the camera without disconnecting it.
Oh believe me, I talk a lot. And I made a whole series of videos about everything about the RZ67 Pro II. Custom mods, digital backs, and even a remote trigger to trigger the RZ with a smartphone.
I liked the video. THought it was very good and showed everything well without even needing to say anything. For some reason it comes off creepy though. Perhaps the silence and the white glove... I like that.
Yes it can but it will be on always default settings and speeds. This video was only to show functions of a camera i wanted to sale. I made a video manual series of this camera.
Nicely done, Julio. Just loaded my new-to-me rz67 ii after watching your video. I like the idea that someone of any language could follow this just about as well as I did.
Is so strange how some people love this thing and some get freaked out. If you are looking for a complete manual on the RZ I did made a whole video series of every single detail of the camera.

Super helpful! This video explains some critical steps that are easy to miss when starting out w the Mamiya RZ67. And really love the gloves haha ;)
V. Gil 😅 I actually made it just to show that the camera I was trying to sale on eBay was working fine. I do have a video tutorial series about the RZ where I cover pretty much EVERYTHING on this camera.
OK thanks Julio, I will watch it!
I got mine for 700 with the 110 lens, 120 and 220 backs, the g2 and the G3 bellows. in Los Angeles. Just make sure is the Pro II
haha the white gloves and silence make this look like a mime performance
Excellent Video! I just picked up one on ebay in super condition.....
Congrats I love mine, have traveled around the glove with it.
Not a bad video but I always find it creepy when people don't talk. The Jeffery Daumer gloves don't help.
Appologies for that. I was selling the camera. After this i did made a video tutorials with voice and no gloves.
I think they're more Mickey Mouse, I love them.
Great video
Thank you so much for checking it!
Great work you made, excellent demonstration lesson! Maybe some releasing music will be complete better your work!
Thank you so so much for this film! It really helped me :)
Thank you so much, really!!

@@RyuuzakiJulio I can't wait to see another video like this on your channel!
Valeria Giuzio just search for RZ67 video manual I’m sure my videos will pop up everywhere
Thanks for this very informative video. A voice over would be good, if done well. So many commentaries on RUclips are terrible, this was refreshing.
THANQUE! I have one coming this week, just what I wanted to know.
+Jay Garrett did you got it? Are you enjoying it? Is a bad ass system isn't it?
Yes! Very much so!
lol I get that I get that. thats why I started to make the Video Manual
Brilliant! Thanks for making this!!

Thank you for the comment. How could it be better? Voice? Music?

very good. tanks
First time seeing one these camera what the best use for them. Because somehow i don't see someone take this outside, is it more of a studio camera?

gloves????
remove the whole cartridge from the back of the camera, it makes it a lot easier.
Yeah, this was my early days of using this camera.
why the gloves? they don't even let you handle the camera well
Read the description.
The audio is a bit too sensitive.
