Hey there. Wondering if the fish nip works down here in the PNW? Where can I get some to try it out?

you bet! Thats what it was designed for! Plug wraps, bait in spawn sacks and to put into your spin fish and brads cut plugs!

Did you notice how many of those kings had net marks on their head. It was at least half of the kings if not more. And those were the ones that got away. How many kings aren't getting away and end up as dead bycatch. All of the other king fisheries are suffering and the numbers are way down. Looks like the netters are taking their toll on the Kings of the Nushigak too. They have deciamated the other king fisheries and maybe now the Nushigak is next. There is a river called the Situk by Yakutat. It use to have a decent king run but not much of one any more. I talked with the owner of a fly shop there a couple years ago and he said the netters basically destroyed the king run in the 90's and since then the returns have been poor. Can't blame that on global warming like they do now.
