Just Made this Recipe Today in my Instant Pot with my Wife. Just wanted to let everyone know it was the Best Linguini & Clam Sauce I've Ever had. The Only Thing that I Tweaked Slightly from the Original recipe was I used the Zest from 2 whole Lemons instead of the 1 Tbsp. in the Recipe. So, I guess that equalled 2 Tbsps. We also didn't use Anchovy, Wifey Doesn't Like it and I'm not big on anything Salty. This Made the Dish Very Bright. The Extra Lemon Zest Complimented the Dish along with the Clams, the heat from the Red Pepper Flakes and the Black Pepper. When Finished with our Servings we felt Great, not Full, or weighted Down like Pasta sometimes makes you feel. My Wife & I both agree this Recipe is a WINNER. Thank You for Sharing it with us via RUclips
I've done instant pot linguine and clam sauce once before and it turned out very good with a similar recipe to yours. I really appreciate that yours is so well written, explaining some variances and some idea of the yield. The best ingredient was the anchovy paste ! Couldn't find it conveniently, but a couple long ones from a 2.5 oz can broke down in the saute perfectly and added tremendous flavor. Knowing they would be salty, I avoided adding anything else salty to the cook. The little things can make a big difference. Thanks and nice work !
I was thinking man that’s a lot of liquid, but nope, it was all absorbed perfectly. Adding in the Parmesan cheese added creaminess. I love linguine with clam sauce and make a good one on the stove. I’ll give this one a go! Looks delicious! Oh…and thanks for always mentioning the Instant Pot size you use for your various recipes. It really does help. Most RUclips content creators fail to do so. Thanks again! ❤️
Thanks! It’s called “You’re the Reason Why” by Substants. I got it from Epidemic Sound (online music provider), but here's a link to a free RUclips version with vocals - really beautiful lyrics ruclips.net/video/KXu7p_QiyHA/видео.html Thanks so much for watching! 💖🐝
A half-recipe will work just fine in the Mini (I've done it). Just use half amounts of all ingredients, but keep the cooking times the same. Hope you try it and good luck! Thanks so much for watching! 💖🐝
Yes! I always use flat-leaf Italian parsley for cooking. I've only ever seen curly parsley just used for decoration on a plate or buffet. Thanks so much for watching! 💖🐝
When I buy canned tuna most of the can is filled with fish. When I buy Snow's chopped or minced clams there is only a half can of clams. The rest is clam juice. Why? I can buy Snow's clam juice separately if I want. Also: these cans are 6.5 ounce, not 8 ounce (1 cup).
Hi, Willow! I can't speak about Snow's canning process - most likely a combination of cost and preserving the product the best way possible. As for the measures, an ounce of drained clam meat is not equal in volume to an ounce of the liquid. I opened, weighed, and measured many cans when testing this recipe and found that there were 1/2 cup by volume of each liquid and meat - that's 4 ounces liquid and 2.5 ounces meat. Each can was pretty consistent, maybe just a tenth off here and there. Also, I didn't pack the meat down too much while measuring. Side note: The label on the can says there are 2 servings of 1/3 cup each. Not sure if they calculate with any liquid included or partially drained. Thanks so much for watching! 💖🐝

My mother makes a version of this. Definitely going to try it with anchovies though!!
Pasta in the liquid instead, I have been reducing liquid and cook pasta in water which total reduction time is over an hour! Brilliant

Snows clams are great but not if they are canned by Bumble Bee.
Looks GREAT but... cheese with delicate seafood ??? Tsk, Tsk !
Never in Italia.
Linguini and clam sauce soup - BLECH!
Why do you have to clutter up these things with loud music that you like?
To mask the taste
Cheese?
Yes. 💖🐝

The answer is MONEY, the root of all evil.@@NosieBee
Pressure cooker? I wish I were as rich as you.
I don't have an instant pot. I have a slow cooker.
You had me drooling until you put in the chicken broth.
?
@@NosieBee It's a long story ☹
Cento clams are better
Cheese with seafood. Doesn’t sound Italian. 😅
Great recipe. Terrible music.
using an instant pot to make this dish is just dumb.
Crappy cheap canned clams
pasta in a pressure cooker, no no no. thyme and rosemary with clams, no no no. parmesan on seafood, no no no.
So how do u make a clam risotto for example? It has parmesan and its delicious
@@windows9764 clam risotto shouldn’t have parm
"To each, his own."
Instant pot? JUST NO!
