@@jaydub2971 Start wd Nf3 n then develop the pawns.. Then either Danish gambit wd double pawn sac or the goring gambit wd quick development of knight will come in... 60percent cases atleast.. 😊
When I was a kid (I am 53), I naturally started playing this move against the other kids at school as I had such a large advantage in development. I had read Bonny Fischer teaches chess (back rank mastery puzzle course I suppose), and I think he hit on ideas of opening theory. Somewhere I heard about Gambits and decided I would make my own. So I would play the Nc3 version of the Goring Gambit. Was years later that I saw the name of the line in a big opening book (pretty old before ECO I think). Anyway, has always had a soft place in my heart.

Did you ever make a video of the 2 pawn sacrifice with the monster bishop combo? 🙏 It looks so fun to play.
I've only seen a few minutes of this video and I already really like this gambit. Tysm for making videos on these underrated and good openings
Nice! And you got it! Ya I didn't even know what it was until a subscriber mentioned it, but I studied it and was like shoot this ain't bad!
YES! When I play 1.e4, it's always, always in the hopes that it turns into a Göring. Excellent.
Nice J Dub! Glad to finally get this video out.
Good luck! 😊
@@geethuvarghese9103 rarely works out that way, lol

You are the best chess youtuber, love these offset openings and positions.
Wow, thank you for the kind words - truly humbled. And super happy to hear you are enjoying these rarer opening options!
Me, a Danish player who has seen this thing too many times and decided to finally study it:
Definitely has those Danish Gambit ideas but just Nf3 thrown in there before d4 and c3!

Ah heck yes.... didn't realize this is a line idea from the Scotch...consider it added to my repertoire! lol. Thanks for these additional lines
You got it Jarrod! Crazy how many options the e4 player has!!!
This kinda reminds me of the nakhmakson gambit, is like a similar move order but with a bishop on c4
Ya it definetely has some Nakhmanson Gambit ideas!
This looks like an alternate move ordered Ponziani. Playing d4 before c2 offering a gambit
Yessir! Ya it combines ideas from both the Ponziani Opening and Danish Gambit. Pretty interesting.
Thank u solomon
i think i have to study hippo more
i still weak in it
You got it! And for sure!
I dont see the Ponziani opening link
Thanks for telling me! Just added it to the description. Here is the link in the comment reply as well - ruclips.net/video/VNxz6w0fmys/видео.html
It's actually not "Goring", it's "Göring", which means it's not pronounced _goring_ , it's pronounced more like _garing_ .
Thanks for letting me know!!
