Instructions in this video are good. Almost done with the first one and seem to be unable to upload the trust. Spinning and spinning. Logged out and in several times. Guessing it's other procrastinators all trying to upload at the same time.
You may want to try a different browser, try to compress the scanned trust file to be smaller or perhaps this trick might help - www.nationalguntrusts.com/blogs/nfa-gun-trust-atf-information-database-blog/atf-eform-1-gun-trust-upload-issues-on-electronic-documents-page
I’m a little unclear on what qualifies as “proof” the trust had possession before 01 Jan. If I just list it in my trust’s schedule A, with a date prior to January, is that enough? Or do I gotta include receipts from purchased item? Lastly, I was under the impression that these were NFA trust engraving exempt, do they want a pic of the engraving from original manufacturer? Thanks for your time
The ATF is looking for notarized assignment sheets and schedules indicating the date that the firearms were transferred into the gun trust. The ATF is requesting a photo of the manufacturers original engravings.
@@NationalGunTrusts hmmm, I have a schedule A for my trust, is the AFT looking for a notary stamp dated before 01 Jan or is it enough that my trust possessed the item before 01 Jan and I get a notary stamp say tomorrow? Thanks for your time.
Do you need to show proof the brace was added to the trust prior to 1/31/23? Can you show that the gun is in the trust before 1/31/23 and that the brace was just purchased before 1/31/23? So confusing? Does the brace have to be in the trust before 1/31/23 to file this as a trust?
It’ll likely take years for them to plow through these. In the interim, ATF has said the submission confirmation serves as an equivalent to the tax stamp for these firearms only. In other words, you may transport and use the braced pistol even though your tax stamp hasn’t yet arrived.

Is it difficult to add additional responsible parties once the form 1 is approved?
No it isn't. You can amend your gun trust to add co-trustees in the future.
