Luna has a good feel for a blues solo. When you want an instrument to cry and moan, the gayageum is a great fit.
This and her other unique applications of the gayageum to the blues is more than talent, it's genius.
Speaking as a longtime studio musician and a guy whom grew-up listening to this song, this young lady is amazing!! I'm looking at her face as she's playing this and I can see the soul inside her. Luna, Great job on a classic.

There's something very sensual about the way Luna plays, sensual without being crass.
A truly great musician.
It's confidence. All of the good solo guitarists have it and she translates that powerful confidence into her music at such a basic level it's almost scary. Music really is a universal language. :)
Watch her eyes -- she's allowing the music to transport her, to sing through her. And that really comes through in her interpretations.
She is truly brilliant at musicianship, not just virtuosically proficient.
(That part is easy in comparison!)

I have been playing blues harmonica for over 30 years I can never remember being this fixed on an instrument. Her sound is so big! and so full! there is no room for any thing else human or instrument. Luna Lee you are Gift to cherish.
saw BB in 1974 at a VFW in KCMO. sat in metal folding chairs. was on the front row, no more than 20 ft away. such a great artist and the music, the music is so heartfelt, soulful and beautiful ..... this young lady plays and interprets BB supremely! thank you for the music

Many years ago, I had the honor of listening to B.B. King at the Electric Factory on 22nd and Arch Streets in Philadelphia, PA. I was one of two white faces in a crowd of black people which was primarily composed of middle aged black women.
I was in awe of B.B. trough the evening and when he sang "The Thrill is Gone" it was clear to me that I was in the presence of a master blues musician. I sincerely believe that if BB had been given the chance - he would have enjoyed performing with this talented young lady. Luna Lee is an awesome talented accomplished musician - it is a pleasure to listen and watch her perform.

She likes Rock and Blues according to an interview I saw. I think it's more like she Loves the Blues.She looks like she is wanting to dance with it. Only when she plays the blues, her facial expressions start to come alive. Her heart belongs to the Delta and the Delta damn well better be proud!
If anyone thinks this is less than brilliant, I say you're daft. Pays tribute to the blues legends who came before her, with just a touch of Korean spices. Love that gayageum beast, she kills!
The gayageum and the blues and Luna Lee all go well together. B.B. would have liked your version of his song. As much I as like to hear you cover rock songs, I think I like hearing you cover blues songs even more. They just seem to bring out more of the overall sound and soul of the gayageum, and the musician, if that makes sense. Keep up the good work!

There's so many blues songs that would probably sound this amazing.
Leadbelly version of Gallow's pole is one that comes to mind. Some Howlin' Wolf Killing Floor also comes to mind.
