Hello, To achieve a successful froth, there are a few tips to try: Using whole milk works best for a velvety foam Use a clean, stainless steel jug Fill the jug with around 200ml milk, put the tip into the milk, so it's just at the surface. This allows bubbles to be created. If there is a screeching sound, raise the jug very slightly until you achieve a 'tearing' sound. For a latte, once bubbles have been created, plunge the milk wand into the milk at an angle and allow it to swirl. This will knock out larger bubbles. For a cappuccino, allow the tip of the wand to sit at the surface for longer to create a more dense foam. Once the jug becomes almost too hot to touch, stop the steam. Tap the jug on the work surface to remove large bubbles and swirl to create a glossy and cohesive foam. Smeg UK
I think it’s where the steam nozzle is held in the milk. The lower down it is the finer the bubbles and the less froth you get for the latte. The higher up the bigger bubbles and more froth for the cappuccino. That’s the only difference I noticed in what she says.
This is our second K-Classic. We had our first one for many years, so when we had to replace it, we wanted nothing else but this exact ruclips.net/user/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf model. We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.
Good afternoon, With our BCC's we recommend using coffee beans, as there is a coffee grinder internally within the machine that will grind the coffee for you. Thank you, Poppy
It's a bean to cup. Depends on your preference, neither is better than the other. Not sure what you mean by,expresso with milk, just add it yourself or make an cappuccino or latte just like you were shown in the video.
Hi Katie, When you have frothed the milk in your jug, this will allow you to create latte art yourself if you would like. However, it will not do the latte art for you. Thank you, Poppy
@@SmegUKOfficial hi I brought one of these and can’t get the frothy milk to cafe quality. Is this normal? It’s not dense or creamy is very light and bubbly
As a West Coastie American...I..uh... I have _no idea_ what a hot radiator feels like... I haven't ever lived in a home with a radiator, and I'm not sure my parents ever did, either. Or their parents, for that matter. I think my whole family transitioned more or less directly from wood heat when they were rural to central forced air heat when they moved to the city/burbs in the 50s and 60s....
its a best buy for me...i love my bean to cup smeh machine❤❤❤
I just brought one of these . And a cant get a good frothy milk like a cafe?? Any ideas why?

So the difference between the latte and the capuccino is given by how much you insert the steam wand into the milk?

Does this machine have a hot water function so can it be used to Americanos and tea?
@@thismummyreviews Yes it does, but it comes out the steamer pipe which I didn't know at first, expected it to come down the same way the coffee does.
@@eyribalt99 thank you
@@thismummyreviews exactly. :)

Can you make Latte art using this machine
Hi Katie,
When you have frothed the milk in your jug, this will allow you to create latte art yourself if you would like.

Hot to touch without burning your hand off! Try it on your car once you’ve driven it for a while. Or does that not have a radiator either?
