    SMEG should hire you to do their user videos/tutorials ! This was the best instructional video I could find. Thank you ! How do you know how /what to set the grinder knob at (where the coffee beans go ?) ? What do you recommend as a good starting point ? did you just use the machine setting as it came from the factory ? Thanks

    • @TheBuscemiFamily
      @TheBuscemiFamily  4 месяца назад

      Thank you so much for the kind words. With respect to the grinder knob its preference. Finer grounds = stronger coffee. I like finer grounds. Just make sure you turn it while it is in the process of grinding which is what the directions tell you.

    Nice review! I think that you covered pretty much everything :) I've had the same machine now for 6 months and it's still working fine. I'm on hard water setting so have been prompted twice so far to run through a full cleaning solution with product. I find that for people who need a lot of liquid in their cup I either make an espresso and add hot water from a kettle or else I give them 2 of the 'long' coffees. I programmed a button to give a full cup of coffee but found that it tasted over extracted.

    • @TheBuscemiFamily
      @TheBuscemiFamily  2 года назад

      This is my biggest critique with the product as soon as I increased the amount of liquid it started to taste over attracted less robust. But I'm grateful for you watching appreciate the support

      @TheBuscemiFamily  Год назад

      You fill it completely (more than a handful). In terms of how long it last depends on how much coffee you drink. If you drink a lot it will need to be filled more frequently. Btw…I got this machine that I like far better than the SMEG. -> JURA E8 Coffee Machine Review

    Hi, thank you for the video, it's great! But can you tell me when you press the 4th button on the orange setting, does an americano come out in one go, without pressing another button? I bought the BCC02 and only drink americano and was disappointed that I had to make an espresso and then add hot water to make my americano. And if the answer to my question is yes, how many ml is the americano? Really appreciate an answer

      Hi G. Boyd. So I did not love the SMEG...infact I was so unimpressed by it that I purchased a Jura E8 which turns out to be the single best coffee machine I have ever come across....one touch everything...check out the video here: ruclips.net/video/Hg5Ic09aJZ4/видео.html

    • @TheBuscemiFamily
      @TheBuscemiFamily  Год назад

      I have since moved on to a new machine the Jura E8 (reviewed here JURA E8 Coffee Machine Review
      ruclips.net/video/Hg5Ic09aJZ4/видео.html )…which does all drinks with one push of a button. I am in love with it. But the drinks are not very large on any of these machine because it’s European style…so as an example a regular coffee is like 5 to 8 ounces at best. So to answer your question on the SMEG I could not tell you but on the Jura everything is one push of a button.
