I deeply appreciate Scott's well crafted questions. Surely prepared with a lot of care to let Simon respond with his best bits of wisdom - as usual. Love to see these two at it. Highly inspirational podcast. Thank you gentlemen 🙏
LOL this Simon Sinek is such a regular dude. He says the most obvious things (some of them are blatantly wrong) as if they are some profound shocking discoveries... He's kind "our" version (whatever "we" are) of tiktok wonders - like "Why is that a thing? Why is this person famous?"
It's so nice to hear someone reasoning about not talking about who's going to vote for because he's a public personality of high influence and that would add to the noise or steer the ship into a direction or another 17:00
I loved this. Simon is always a gem. That last question about what are the things you want to achieve hit home. I’ve never had a plan. I could never answer the question, where do you see yourself in 5 years because I’ve never had a long term plan. Plans have always evolved based on what’s been put in front of me. My goals have always been to learn as much as I can and enjoy life. Beyond that, it’s all made up.
Simon, you are an Amazing Leader in My University my tutor always puts a video from you to learn how you teach leadership Greetings from Manchester England. Doris
30:00 crazy ironic that two very successful millionaires are BOTH insecure about money, and also so secure psychologically they are willing to discuss those insecurities in front of the world. there is a lesson here about getting rich: 1) realize you will always worry about money, no matter your wealth or income, and 2) get your psychology handled by any means necessary
I get the desire to judge parents. I don’t give my kids screens at dinner, but as the surgeon general recently said, parents are under serious amounts of stress. Of course, social media is something that should be kept from kids under a certain age, but can we find some ways to support parents, realize most of us are doing our best without the networks that supported our parents, and also under an amount of judgement from the innumerable sources in the world telling us how to do this or that we’re failing.
Help me get a foot in the door of Congress and together we can lift the nation as a team. We can enact meaningful change, but we need people like yourself Scott to help nobodies like myself break into the places where we can be most effective. Especial in the realm of politics where outsiders are not welcome.
"Over-indexing on the idea of 'rugged individualism'." Brilliant and correct, demonizing the advantages of collectivism has been a huge mistake for our society.
Simon is a dangerous person He speaks with so much conviction on things he doesn’t know about and his cult following lap it up. Guy seriously put relationships at the bottom of the maslows hierarchy of needs saying maslow was wrong
Similar Cats that come at work from different perspectives. Frankly, I feel reinforced due to my similarities to Mr. Sinek, albeit on a much smaller scale.
The criticism on the Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs (MHN) sounded a bit stupid to me (not to mention arrogant): there is no presence of "bullet proof vests" in the MHN either, but plenty of people die every year because of bullets that would have been stopped with them. So... he was wrong about that too? If you don't have food you die WAY faster than because of being lonely. If it's cold outside and you don't have shelter, you die even faster. I would say the MHN is fine as is.

You can literally FEEL the honesty!
An honest conversation between two adult men. Underlining the word "adult".
super authentic man. it got real around the 25 min mark ...

Two unperfect and wonderfully honest men who make the world a bit better.

Thank god I am alive in the era of Simon Sinek. Every video I've ever watched is pure gold.
This podcast was ELECTRIC. Love the chemistry these two gentlemen have. Looking forward to seeing more podcasts with Scott and Simon together 🙏

You have the right to have no opinion.-Epictetus
I saw this relationship being birthed on the in person podcast... not sure where... but glad is blossoming
Starting on Sinek's own pod - this duo is great
There is a famous quote that says responsibility without authority is slavery; on the other hand, the authority without responsibility is tyranny.

You two guys! Very, very interesting! Everyone needs big brothers like you 😁
Excellent ,
Feel good interview. Thank you, both!!!
Simon Sinek is 50. Holy shit i hope i age like that.

Hear hear!
Dude if a Man is Hungry he will not die by suicide, he will die of hunger. So many people do so in this world. Crazy Logic!
The shortest poem in the world comes from Mohammad Ali and goes, "Me we." The closer we can move our behaviors toward 'we', the better off we will be.

Adam had 'um.
The bromance is heating up
Four years listening to him-which is four years without any new material at all. Getting very tedious, Simon.
Love these podcasts
Just watched the podcast with andrew huberman this should be good.
Simon is a dangerous person
He speaks with so much conviction on things he doesn’t know about and his cult following lap it up.

“Come on fucker up your game.” -Simon Sinek 2024, legend.
1:44 - optimism like this is in our homo sapiens dna one of few unique traits to our species, without it, never have spread across the globe.

The separated corner on the frame over Scott's right shoulder is driving me crazy.
- People DO commit suicide out of starvation
- To have a plan is not folly
- And other BS said here
What are killing more humans? Physical events or mental?😊
People DO commit self-harm because of hunger! Simon is amazing and I admire him, but he needs to see the world out of his bubble.
I’d love to join the pod and talk about the younger generation in the workplace (and other things)
So the guy with no kids reckons he would replace phones with crayons. And both of you addicted to Insta and telling everyone not to.
Didnt Simon get famous giving talks about how Millenials are lazy and entitled? Not a fan of him
LOL this Simon Sinek is such a regular dude. He says the most obvious things (some of them are blatantly wrong) as if they are some profound shocking discoveries...
I suppose if you aren't like minded his observations may seem less than profound. I personally find him to be refreshing and accurate.
Love ya, Scott. But did ya'll kiss after this video. Simon, you're not married because you're gay. It's fine to be gay. Embrace it, brother...
You mean I can't be a anti-social shut in? aww
Who is Simon and why should anybody listen to him? He sounds like one of those guys who sells pep talks to corporations for their conferences.
