  • Students at Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Austin, Texas, describe what it is like to learn guitar. TSBVI instructor Jeremy Coleman shares his teaching philosophy. Coleman developed his approach at TSVBI using Austin Classical Guitar's GuitarCurriculum.com, which he has adapted for Braille. Coleman also serves as Austin Classical Guitar's Inclusion Expert assisting classroom guitar instructors throughout the United States with solutions for students with disabilities.

Amazing! This post really made an impact on me. I’ve seen a performance at New World Deli & watched how she used her left hand to track her place on the neck of the guitar. So many “seemingly impossible” musical teaching programs ACG is doing.

I feel like the blind and visually impaired can truly hear and understand music. Does anyone know what type of diplomas the give out to the blind? We believe the visually impaired deserve
certificates and diplomas they can read and understand. Made on thin wood, using a textured seal and Braille they can read, understand and be proud of.
