Fun plane but it’s definitely wonkier than the volantex ones. Worth the 50$ 100%.
I did take off once tho and it went 90’ left immediately and almost hit a couple people watching me. So I try to be careful around people because it’s unpredictable. Especially when the battery is low. Also no dead battery beeping is kind of a shame. Very freaky when it’s high up and dies. It also has very thick wings so it has heavy landings.

Is that thing brushless? It sounds a lil different and def looks faster
@@lewiemotorsports3616 I think it is brushless but it has a different motor so it makes a different sound. The motor does feel stronger
@@PlaneX20 That's BS Son! This is the TopRC Hobby mini P-51 Mustang. It runs the same coreless brushed (NOT brushless!) motor as the Volantex V761 Mini Warbirds.
A slightly "Upgraded" version 🙄is available from Horizon as their in-house HobbyZone re-brand. It has the switches swapped from side to side on the Tx and some AS3X stabilization remnant on the flight board when you switch to "Expert" mode. This has purely manual mode there.
Another fallacy to watch out for - Lipo batteries usually have a true capacity that depends on the amount of active chemicals in them. If they are the same size and weight as the opposition's brand then you can be sure that they have B-all "extra" capacity no matter what the Sales Bovine Excreta says!
Note that Volantex now have a 500mm V76802 P-51 that DOES have a brushless motor and runs on 2-cells. It runs the same protocol as the Mini Warbirds.
