Actually most of the bass work was Tim Foust. Chances' baritone was spot on with Tim's bass.

This one was definitely outside the box, as was stated during the Q & A VIP in Biloxi months ago. I had no idea it would be another sea shanty, but it’s spectacular! Chance should be very proud, and of course, Home Free as a group was phenomenal! That bass, Tim, was epic! I could hear Rob and Austin’s harmonies clearly. Of course, Rupp is the beatboxer extraordinaire, as usual!

Fantabulous DUDES! This has every aspect of a true shanty! That deep double-bass was astounding, Adam's beatboxing off the hook, and some operatic vibes from the tenor section was icing on the cake! BRAVO!

For what it's worth, this song has catapulted Skull and Bones into a day-one buy for me (although the gameplay clips don't hurt!) I'm so glad for you guys and especially Chance that you got this opportunity, and you really killed it on that stage! Even the jaded video game fans who are tired of the delays were often blown away from what I've seen!

The live is way better than the studio version for the simple reason that Austin and Rob come through much clearer. Brilliant performance and real catchy tune.

I'm so happy they featured you in your song. what a wonderful voice but then I knew that. Home Free only has the best. Adams beatboxing was as majestic as always. For anyone who doesn't recognize Rob's voice and saying that's Adam doing the "skull and bones!" chant at 1:55, look at his neck and throat. The muscles are taut. He's beatboxing. Now go to 2:18ish and watch Rob. The only thing being sung is "skull and bones" and he is clearly singing it. So let's put to rest the whole "Adam is doing the skull and bones chant." That's Rob. Adam is knocking out an amazing beatboxing performance, but he isn't also singing.
According to my eyes and ears, 'skull and bones' must be from a backing track.
@@andreasbuhrmann8442 The vocals are layered, yes, so if there's something else being sung, they're leaving the chant to the pre-recorded track, but nonetheless Rob *is* singing at 2:18 and the only thing being sung is "skull and bones". He's singing it because it's his part. It's his deep, resonant "opera Rob" voice in that bit.
