New releases from Genius Games are always worth checking out. Genotype was excellent and I'm glad to have it in my collection with those nice deluxe components. It does seem risky to have back-to-back releases focused on worker placement as their core mechanism. Having another good worker placement game with a science theme makes it easier to overlook trying this one.
Nice review & glad you enjoyed it! For what it's worth, the Mangrove side of the plant board has an "advanced" set of root tracks that encourage players to use the Growth Action all game -- you can get a bigger bonus at the end of the track and cycle back around.
Tom, please rank all the genius games!!
Nice touch that you need 6 water molecules and 6 co2 molecules to produce a carb. Makes me want to try it.
There was a time early in development where we were making 30-odd ATP 😳 -- this was out of control.
I have been looking to get this game for a while. I think I might actually do that. Thanks, Tom.

Anyone else get a little twitchy watching Tom fill the cell wall track backwards?
This one is definitely going on my "get it soon" wish list!
Since i've kickstarted it, i'm happy that it got approved :D
How does it compare to Cytosis?
I think Cytosis is about animal cells and this is about plant
9:09 "kind of an area control"
"if I lose just by a bit, I get to keep my water there"
So...auction in disguise?
How is something like this compared to bios genesis ?
A lot lighter, approx family/family + weight. Bios games v heavy
How doesn't like a good ATP?
A tired ADP?
But how are the games hanging on the wall??
🎶Weird Science! 🎵
