- Shiromani Akali Dal MP Harsimrat Kaur lambasted Centre over budget in her fiery speech in Lok Sabha calling it ‘discriminatory’. She said that the budget was mainly focused on the development of two states namely, Bihar and Andhra Pradesh.

Prosperity in Punjab is because Central Govt. is undertaking unlimited procurement in the state on one hand and paying highest amount of taxes and surcharge to the state, on handling of food grains.
