Hundreds audition, but only a select group will secure spots in the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders training camp. DCC director Kelli Finglass and head choreographer Judy Trammell oversee the intense audition process and decide which hopefuls will make the team.

She was probably just shocked. I would probably have that same reaction. Especially when she wasn't as bad as Meredith she proba lt felt like she wasn't getting cut.

I really feel for girls like her and Amy (amy was the pretty black girl with the bob haircut who tried out 5 times before making training camp and then was cut the last night) Amy went on to cheer for the warriors a year they won the NBA championship, I really hope Alexandra finds another team to cheer for like Amy did. As much as I like her I don’t think the DCC is a fit.

Actually there would. Look at how much people hated Jesus. So much so that they killed him. It's always the way with those who are different. Human beings actually like different...up to a certain point. Anything after that and we attack. I personally have witnessed a girl like Meredith be the victim of some serious hivemind hatred. Which is exactly what's happening here. The fact that you feel the need to comment as much as you do, proves my point. Why do you care so much? It's not like Meredith killed someone...go protest something worthwhile

You can easily see the favoritism. They always say she's off or weak or boring in an episode but by the end they say she's great just to keep her. She's a great dancers, but not in this type of dance, and anyone who thinks she's amazing here doesn't know dance and likes a pretty face. Plus her eyes are so heavy, she looks high all the time.
Yea they screwed over Alexandra big time. She always had great power and projection everytime she had screen time. That whole excuse about choreographers not noticing her was complete bulllshit.
it was bullshit! lol...every single guest choreographer noticed Meredith & said she was terrible (except for the one girl who felt sorry for her, but she still called her "the weakest one") 🤨

I can't believe they keep Meredith and not Alexandra. Not only was she a better dancer but sooooo much stronger in the interviews.
Yeah, if it wasn’t for Meredith’s boyfriend having connections to the owner, Alexandra for sure would’ve made it.
I really didn’t like the guest choreographers. Judy and Kellie put way to much faith on their word after seeing the girls for just one night. I also would rather see the girls judges on the DCC style instead of the guest choreographers style.

Meredith is the one of the best cheerleaders they've ever had. Certainly the most beautiful which is a huge part of making it on the team. She's in the DCC hall of fame. Every single one of these videos there are Meredith haters. It's actually funny at this point. This video wasn't even about her lmao! You guys, jealousy is not attractive. Hide that shit lol

I feel so bad for Alexandria. She has such determination though. And, I didn’t understand Shana’s cut but realize not everything is shown on TV.
Phil seems like such a sweetheart, he deserved more hugs and kisses 100% .

With kicks and flexibility being crucial, why can’t they determine those two aspects long before training camp? Simply add a round that showcases those abilities or lack thereof.
They actually do the kickline in the finals round, it's why they're all dressed in the same uniform when the final training camp list is called.
And what was wrong with Asley's kicks? I rewinded several times and didn't see any difference in comparison with other girls.

Shaniah Troy yea that wasn’t her best moment. I wasn’t the biggest fan of her but I feel bad because she did go through a lot
Mykie Jean everyone goes through a car accident but she lived.. she shouldn’t have never said all she wants too dcc is for a resume

I am so impressed with how well these young ladies took the heartbreaking news! Brett, Alexandria and Lauren especially impressed me with their gratitude and poise. I hope most of these ladies come back and at least give it another shot! Julia is an example of how you don’t handle the news.

Yes. The way Julia kept interrupting Kelly with "Yes, ma'am" and then trying to beg her way in and guilt trip them was just awful. And i never once saw a real tear in her eyes which was pretty weird 🤔 I just hope she grew up A LOT since then...
As far as Alexandria, I unfortunately have to disagree that she went out with poise. She just couldn't accept their decision with grace. It was very sad, though.
I felt Gina's cut was so genuine. She was crying not only because she was cut but because she knew she wasn't good enough. I know that feeling when you want it so bad bud you know you don't deserve it. So sad.
Gina: "I'll come back stronger"

Oh my god I love Phil! He seems like such a dad/fun uncle who just wants everyone to be happy. He seems so protective of everyone and so supportive. They are all trying to be the cheerleaders for the cowboys but Phil seems to be the biggest cheerleader for all the girls trying to be come DCCs.
I think this episode was the fatal straw for Alexandra she tried out for the 5th time but to no avail. Still didn’t make it.
I hate how they show every rookie but not Taylor or Kesly... in every video you barely even see them 💀

Cecilia Posada my guess is through her connections to the directors, when the judges were in deliberations, the only person really campaigning for meredith to stay was the one main director. i wouldn’t be surprised if there was
She’s actually a very good dancer. She was a sub teacher at my studio (she used to compete there) and she’s pretty good

Cecilia Posada no,she’s pretty but several were better on the field & had more “ musicality”- whatever vague term Kelly uses to judge those girls she cuts.
Cloudy Days not saying she’s not a “ good dancer”, but there are others just as strong or stronger.
I think it’s really nice that for the veterans that didn’t make it the team after their rookie year and those even longer remain friends and they are in each other’s life, weddings. It’s definitely a sisterhood
All the girls on the squad are extremely close. I always tell ppl DCC is more than just team, they are a real family. These girls spend more time with each other than they do with their own families. Majority of these girls are from out of state. They don't really have anyone out here. It gets lonely I'm sure so the team is really all these girls have. In addition to that lots of these DCCs live together so that adds to the closeness. It strengthens the bonds and friendships.

Bare in mind some of these girls live together so they are really close outside of the show.
On one hand, I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND asking for one more chance; on the other hand, if you've put it ALL OUT THERE, EVERY DAY... then what's one more night going to do?
christine mcdonald-broderick it has worked in the past. Morgan in season 8 kept asking and they kept giving it to her. She got cut the next year reaudutioning as a vet.
Deborah Karp ...ohhhhh wowwww. I'm surprised! It could almost be interpreted as, "I wasn't giving you my very best, but TOMORROW I WILL"!!!!
(And that's not to say I wouldn't be HEARTBROKEN if it happened to me!)
Well, it worked out for Meredith, so the other candidates probably thought it would work for them too.
I think they think they can release their nerves that may be holding them back regardless of how much practice they've done, even outside of the group practices
Julia is so fake, I didn’t see one tear, she seemed shocked by their decision. She knew it was coming after they found out that she was using the doc organization to farther her career in journalism. Then she tried to get one more chance to stay at training camp. They told her, that she was done for good!!! Bravo to them!!!!!

21:48 Wonder if Kelli's speech and the personality tests have anything to do with Malena's breakdown when she was released last season? It was upsetting to watch, so we can only imagine how Malena must have felt. I prefer this changed format in how they're telling the girls they're not making the seasons team - mental health is now being considered when Kelli/Judy break the news.
I really wish some of these girls return next season to try to make it, because they are awesome

The speech before the cut at 27:30 was worded so cruelly because she literally said “you could make this team..............but you need more time so tonight’s your last night” like it was so sudden that even the blonde lady didn’t know the girl was gonna get cut. She raised the girl’s hopes with that one sentence and then turned around and sent her home like wth

Every single elimination and Meredith wasn’t one of them🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ If this taught DCC hopefuls anything, you better be damn good and make no mistakes OR have connections to the owner because Meredith will take your spot in a heart beat.

5:13. I want to cry everytime I hear Lily talk. She’s the most genuine, sweet candidate I’ve ever seen on this show. She’s beauty within and it emanates out.
The way that they all go in so hopeful and then instantly crumble when they get the news is so heartbreaking! It shows how much these girls want it!!

These girls are so kind to each other, if their friend gets cut, they run up to them and start hugging them. It’s so cute!
I love Kelli and Judy but the only thing that bothers me is how they let girls that they KNOW have low kicks into training camp, just to early on in training camp have a "your kicks are too low and flexibility takes time, tonight is your last night" conversation. Don't string them a long and invite them to training camp if you know flexibility takes times.

I think because she was really good during improv, not so good during the combinations but she had beautiful technique. So I think they thought she would get better throughout training, but that never happened. Plus she’s beautiful
Rck Keller there is talks that either her boyfriend (sugar daddy) is related to the owners of the organization or her boyfriend’s family has some connection to the owners. Either way, the tumor is Julie and Kelly’s jobs were threatened if they DIDNT let her on the team.

I hope they get to try out...hope they are all in shape if they can’t work out. Now I know that it is difficult if you can’t take classes, (I know--I tried out for cheerleading) it is hard to force yourself when you are alone to dance.

When your heart is set on making the squad and it dosen't work out is sad, but are asked to reaudition is a compliment. Just get those weak areas address like more dance classes, and stronger routines you can own it next season! It's a blessing in disguise, and you can be the best of 36, next year.
I'm glad Kelli doesn't bow down and give in when the cry or beg. I know it's probably super hard for her.

Oh Victoria did the previous year and she learned like hell from it. I think Amanda was in training the year before too? Unlike Malena they learned.
They were the strongest rookies. 😁
The cutting is super sad because I know how that type of heartbreak feels when u want something so bad and have gone so far into something and then they cut you, it does suck. I hope some of these girls are mentally strong enough to not allow this to bring them to a point of doing harm to themselves
