Hundreds audition, but only a select group will secure spots in the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders training camp. DCC director Kelli Finglass and head choreographer Judy Trammell oversee the intense audition process and decide which hopefuls will make the team.

Almost lost an eye, lost showgroup, lost a shoe, but girlfriend came back 10,000 times stronger, reclaimed her showgroup position with eye, shoe, and hotness intact! You go girl!👏👏👏

I remember being so worried when she didn't make show group her 2nd year after being on it her rookie year that she was on their "radar" for being cut. So glad she is back on show group now and killing it as a veteran!
She even is a 2nd group leader! Really hoping she stays for a 5th year
She did not do not see her in any show groups. She looks like an actress from Mexico, which are known worldwide minus the UsZ
Jalyn is simply STRIKING! In her looks, her dance, and her determination.
I think they actually did not treat her well on DCC because of her looks. She seems nice I hope she went on to bigger things
Kelli has a bit of a nerve calling her unprofessional. Professionalism on the part of the staff should have been to give her a heads up and feedback when she didn’t make show group after previously being on it.
I always thought the way Jalyn handled it WAS professional! Don’t make a scene, take 5 minutes to go collect yourself, and come back ready to work. THATS professional
Absolutely. Jalyn handled it VERY professionally. Unprofessional would have been her crying or yelling and making a scene in the rehearsal room. Jalyn isn't a robot. She has emotions. She handled them appropriately for the situation.
The DCC has a "team before yourself" mentality, they wanted her to put her emotions about her situation aside and be happy for the girls who made it (notice how K&J commended the other girl who was on show group the year before but then didn't make it and didn't run to the locker room)
I personally think Jalyn handled it well, and I'm not even against the "team before yourself" mindset, but I think there should be a happy medium because disappointment and sadness in this case is pretty appropriate.
I love Kelli but deliberately pronouncing her name wrong ...is wrong🤷😢🤍💙
They never give heads up, they choose a different show group every year. The girls know that.

Jalyn has made her hometown so proud…she is phenomenal and such an incredible role model for young girls. We love her and wish her much continued success!
It never sat right with me that when Jalyn got cut from show group her second season that she wasn’t allowed to go to the bathroom for five minutes and cry without getting reprimanded for it. By her third year when they were obviously favoring others over her, I hoped she would retire, but it seems like she keeps coming back. She deserves a lot better. In DCC, you can basically tell after a certain point that you won’t advance any further: for example, when people with less seniority than you get put further ahead in the triangle. And yes, I think she could tone down on the lip filler.
I totally agree - i don’t know why they said it was unprofessional. I think taking 5 minutes to collect yourself and coming back in ready to work rather than having it affect you all rehearsal IS professional!
@@amandaharris421 Totally agree. She didn’t act out. She held her emotion until she was in private, but clearly pulled it together quickly. Being able to take highly stressful and emotionally upsetting news and pull yourself together in minutes is the definition of professional. The reaction by them was so overly critical, that I question if they would have done it without the cameras/show. Like they needed to make it a bigger deal than what it was. Just odd.
I agree with all of you. I was so confused like what was the issue. I personally think Jalyn handled it very well. She handled it the way a true professional would. She was visibly upset about being cut from show group, rather than cry in front of everyone she excused herself and went to the locker room to gather herself. What on earth is unprofessional about that. She did the right thing. Kelli and Judy are acting as if she stayed in the locker room for the entire rehearsal and refused to come out. I am sure that's not what happened. Kelli and Judy be mad over the dumbest things.
They probably thought it was unprofessional because she just walked off without telling anyone where she went. And didn't Kelli say that they were about to start the routine? Yeah, you don't walk out when they're about to start.
Sometimes the girls with less seniority are better performers than the girls with more seniority. Kelli always says that they like to put the strongest dancers in the front. You wanna be closer to the front, you gotta have that extra power.
I loved her original hair colour better; it fit with her personality.

Loved her from the day she walked into training camp. I love seeing her overcome her disappointment and end up on show group AND as a 2nd group leader!! She dances with fire in her belly!
Crazy she slipped her rookie year and made it. And then her shoe fell off and she made it lol. She’s amazing regardless if she’s on SG or not
So what she needs to do next time is tear her costume and then she’ll be a lock! Ha ha just kidding
She has grown so much and her hair looks better than ever now👌😊

Jaylin was a Wonderful performer, teammate and friend!!! She Was professional when she went to another room to collect herself, instead of making a scene. (like some others, that were Kelly's favorite). Jaylin always gave 100% , was respectful, a Great helper and friend!! She deserved more acknowledgment! ❤

Cersten doesn't have much footage. We will definitely be getting Tasha's DCC Journey. Her story was so unique. I think it was the first time DCC actually showcased a mother on the squad.

Dallas Cowboys reclaimed the title as the world’s most valuable sports team worth an estimated $5 billion and pays these lovely ladies 12 dollars per hour. It should be illegal and they should get sued AGAIN!
They make about $15-$20 per hour. They should pay them more but they make about $75,000 per year.

There will be a DCC Journey video for Lexie and Tasha. There is barely any footage of Nicole Hamilton. I don't know about the Trevino sisters.
IMO She made it back on SG because Victoria was not in TC last year. Also feel she lost her spot so they had a place for Victoria.
Or she lost her place to Rachel A, Rachel W, Cianna, Caroline, Ashlee, Kelcey, Amanda who all made showgroup that year for the first time
@@EmVee. Jaylynn is a great dancer but all those girls you just mentioned dance with great personality. Jay to me was always just a filler dancer same with Taylor and madeline.

Dang, I have this feeling she’s not gonna get group leader her 5th year. Seems like they overlook her at times.
Jalyn’s a strong candidate to go six or seven years. Skinny, reliable, precise, projecting and underexposed, she can stay under the radar forever.
They have to make her a group leader in her 5th year. Jalyn is a second group leader. Second group leaders usually get group leader the following year.
they’ve said multiple times that Jaylin is a very strong leader, so I do see her getting a spot. For the point, however, while she is a great dancer she has a lot of competition. Ashley, Rachel and Caroline want it badly, and based on what we saw last season I think it’s gonna come down to those three. Hopefully Jaylin gets pro bowl spot because she definitely deserves it.

I thought Jayln made it to show groups and did not see her at all. I loved Jayln's warmup video and using it before working out and has helped. I'm sorry but I like Keli and Judy and understand their vision but they always choose blondes to represent everything.
Why they do her like that with the thumbnail?
The best response would've been "Kelli, punch me in my good eye so they match!"
When Rachel W retires they should do one of these for her
They don’t have a lot of footage for her, while she is one of the top girls on the team. She’s very soft-spoken and that doesn’t always translate to a good reality show person. I think that’s kind of why the producers tend to overlook her but Kelli and Judy really see the Skill she brings to the field. But they may muster up some footage of Rachel we didn’t see to make one of these compilations.
@@jonathanthomas9677 I will never understand the hype about Rachel W. She is extremely boring in my opinion, hence the reason why they never show her. She has no personality. She is mainly in the background. If she didn't make point I probably wouldn't have known who she was. She doesn't stand out to be sorry.
@@RealTalk1411 I feel no particular type of way about Rachel W, she’s one of those not the most stunning girls they’ve ever had as far as the DCC look. If you remember her like second year during show group auditions Kelly said something along the lines of “you could just take a photo of her and every shot you take would work” And she did win veteran of the year this year so I think she’s an effective leader, and she just doesn’t turn on the power in the presents until she absolutely needs to.
@@jonathanthomas9677 All I have ever heard about Rachel W is how pretty she is. I haven't heard anything about dance skills. I personally think she was only given point because she's pretty and she has the "look". She is way too soft of a dancer for point. For me she lacks power. Lexie would've been a better candidate for point or Caroline or even Daphne.
Can u please do a compilation of dcc journeys but instead put all the cheerleaders who were 2 year vets then retired like Megan, Melissa, Cersten and all those people
