When the secret that 2B was actually an Executioner type, it was not a moment of sadness nor a moment of anger, but a blank moment of sadness and shock... The way he loved her all those moments they spent time together, all those malls, oceans and the beautiful scenery of the world, and finally all the times they spent together.. Yoko Taro made one hell of a couple. Theory (hopefully a good idea) spoiler: Ending E basically just tells me that there's a chance of getting a sequel, with 2B, A2 and 9S still remaining as the main characters. It makes sense since the pods decided to fix the three, if they were to make a sequel, I feel like the beginning would each be linked to each ending in automata. Preferably Ending E, since Ending E made more sense imo tbh. So here's my take on the lore The scene follows the events of Ending E wherein the pods would fix the android models, 2B and 9S. Although very difficult, the pods managed to restore 2B's power and data, but failed in restoring 9S's data and power. 2B then weeps after finding out that he's possibly not gonna reboot due to the damage against him and possibly the loss of Data. 2B would try searching for clues about how to save and restore 9S (she loves him yes). She gets a call from Jack ass, where in the "ark" was mentioned, she sets out looking for the item mentioned in order to save his android boyfriend. She finds it as she now sets out to go back to 9S's lifeless corpse, making the repair vaccine or something like that and administer it to him in hopes of curing him and repairing him. This leads us to two of the 3-5 endings I thought of. Ending 3 or C, the administering of the repair vaccine fails as 9S would begin playing a message to 2B, thanking her because she gave a new whole meaning to his life. 2B proceeds to cry, as she finally calls him Nines again, as she sat there, never moving from where she was, staying with her lover's deceased body, as the pods now narrate the never ending spiral of life and death. Ending 4 or 5, the administering of the repair vaccine doesn't seem to succeed, as 2B suffers a breakdown, asking why he had to go before they even had a proper farewell. The pods would detect an abnormal signal from the black box of nines, as 2B's vital signs starts to deteriorate, the other pod would inform them of the signal from 9S's blackbox, but was shook off by pod 042, until a heartbeat was heard, 9S would come back to life with the possibility that his black box just recovered his entire personal data. 2B would be overwhelmed with joy, tears of joy as she saw her lover revive after the hardships she went through just to put her back. He asks where he was, as 2B answers, by telling him that she was glad that he came back. They talk about what happened, finally telling each other their feelings, with complete disregard for the "prohibition" of feelings. They now say the catch sentences as follow; Even if this world is full of curses, even if this world punishes us, we continue to resist everything within this spiral. While singing words of prayer. These endings prove that they truly love each other, cared about each other and how much they want to spend time together. (unlockable by picking paths, such as 9S path or A2 path) before this game starts it's playthrough, you must fight as A2 or 9S first, if A2 wins, she deletes 9S logic virus, if 9S kills A2 and he dies, he'd be fixed by the pods however it will be hard to fix him. Some Endings like 1st Ending or A ending, connect with the original automata endings, such as A and B where 2B had to kill 9S. They were soon summoned into the bunker yo undergo maintenance as they spend time together in the bunker and on earth after maintenance. This connects to the invasion of earth part, where in they both made a promise to each other that they'd make it out alive (this would probably put a sense to why 9S was pissed at A2.) ending 2 or B Follows the death of Eve, the two were recalled to the bunker to undergo maintenance, they spent time and the invasion of earth happens wherein they made a promise with each other which was kept. He saved 2B who was on the verge of being killed by machines, just in time, keeping her from being infected by the logic virus. A2, 2B, and 9S remains as the few survivors of YorHa, in which they work together to suppress aggression, 2B and 9S would progress their relationship further, as they roam the earth together, enjoying the scenery. They finally admit their feelings towards each other with disregard with the "Androids are prohibited to have emotion." Ending the game as they finally cleaned up all aggressive force off earth. Ends with the catch sentence as they reminisce about the past wherein 2B was forced to kill 9S and how 2B gave 9S the meaning to live; "Even with the pain of killing you was the sin I always bear" "Even if the joy of meeting you is my reason to live." "I'll resist it." "I'll keep fighting." "even if it means going against God." END Credits. Hoped you liked it. It was 1 am when I wrote this, finished on 2 Am. Lol hope you loved it. I'll edit in more endings when I find or think of one.

I remember reading Devola and Popola's little novel, and when they said "Were humans really that cruel?" I thought to myself, if anything, it's less cruel to give you a partner to share such a burden with. Upon realizing the full extent of 2B and 9S' relationship, the whole reason 2B exists being to kill 9S because he was made too smart for his own good, and 2B being constantly emotionally tortured by this duty she has to fulfill. All the while, eachother seems to be all they know, so they feel love towards eachother. THAT is fuckin cruel, god damn

I avoided watching this because I thought that it was going to be just another typical music video with the cutscenes in the background. I made it only about 3 seconds before I realized how wrong I was and now I want to cry because of how beautifully crafted this is-absolutely remarkable-10/10 would cry again!
