Crete is a fantastic family friendly holiday destination and really does have something for everyone. Here we have a quick look at what we got up to on our holiday.

Hi Craig, I’m sure you’re going to have a fabulous time in Crete. It’s a lovely place to holiday. One restaurant we ate at a few times was Paradise Restaurant Bar, good portions, good quality, wide variety of dishes, friendly staff, few freebies too which is always a nice touch. For cocktails and drinks give central bar on Vlyhadas street a go or Anfield bar which overlooks the sea making it a good stop for seeing the sunset. One place I’d avoid for food is Tavern Mylos, the place gets rave reviews but we didn’t rate it. Slow service, miserable staff, overly salty food and just an overall bad atmosphere. Like I say the place does get good reviews so maybe we were there on an off night but I personally wouldn’t go back.
