    I’m really missing your videos, especially about standard size… hope you’re well❤

    Love the idea of med lists, health problems in your book. Suggestion: make a copy and put on fridge. EMS always looks on the fridge for doctors’ names etc.

    Looks like a great set up, Amanda. I feel like I’m using my reference notebook a lot less too! Looking forward to how your Stalogy grows in the upcoming months💕

    So how did it work out?! I was shocked to find you moving out of your standard TN, I loved a lot about your old system. But I also love A5 size! Just seems like a lot of work to get set up. Dying to know what you’re doing now! 2023 & no Amanda in sight. 😢💞 miss your videos!

    Something about the way you talk and explain so simplicity is so satisfying. I subscribed and look forward to more journal content. 😌

    I always love seeing your setup, whatever size or notebook/insert it’s in. 😊 I have to admit, I am *very* excited to see you in a bound notebook!! I look forward to hearing (and maybe seeing 👀) how it’s working for you. Thank you for the shoutout. 💛

    For 2021 I decided to commit to a Stalogy as my planner for the year and 8 months in I love it. I use the A5 as well. Midori sells a simple A5 plastic notebook cover for $5 that I buy from Amazon. I slip my Stalogy into one and it works perfectly.

    I’m very keen on keeping things simpler and 2 notebooks is definitely my maximum. I always see these videos and think I should add the contact details/ICE and medical tracker, and the page with the credit card phone numbers, etc.

      Ah at least do the "if lost, please call" - just in case! My reference notes are the single most annoying thing to complete for my notebooks. But have saved my butt a few times.

    If you put a small hole in the top of the back cover and one at the bottom of the back cover and slip a thin elastic string (put the knot on the inside cover ) the rest of the band will be on the outside. You can pull the band from the back and wrap it on the front to close it and you wouldn’t necessarily need a cover. The same way the leuchtturm notebooks close. Great start on a set up. Stalogys are so much fun because you can do your own thing.

    Pilot Iroshizuku Take-sumi does really well on Stalogy paper. 🙂 I found Noodler’s inks to be too finicky with it. It’s a decent solid black. Happy to send you a sample if you’d like. I have a bottle.

    I have a question :) I do not know stalogy but I see a lot of these. Is that the same paper as Hobonichi ? Thin light weight paper ? Thank you for your reply :)

    just thought I'd hop in and note that in place of Heart of Darkness I started using De Atramentis Archive Ink with a very fine Kaweco. No feathering what so ever on such fine paper, but it might be the nib size. Just thought I'd toss that in :)

  • @angelaprentice8055
    @angelaprentice8055 3 года назад

    What do you think of Noodler's heart of darkness and your Pilot VP on the Stalogy paper? I don't really like it, it comes out a lot thicker and definitely less shiny and smooth than on TMR paper

    • @InkImperfections
      @InkImperfections  3 года назад

      The ink was feathering a lot when I tested it. My VP puts out a thick line (bent nib) and that probably accentuated the feathering. Not a fan and experimenting with other inks.

    How did you attach the vellum sheet into your notebook? It looks super sharp!

    • @InkImperfections
      @InkImperfections  3 года назад +1

      Scotch tape folded, half on the vellum and half on the Stalogy. @Daksina has a great video on how to.

    Did you print all of those post it notes yourself?? It doesn't look like that shop sells physical products

    Hey Amanda - I'll DM you in IG. I have a couple of medical hacks, after 23 years of mothering a professional patient, that you may find useful. I know you're a nurse, but being on the parent side is a whole different experience in the medical system, am I right?
    FWIW, I have my action categories divided into contexts (phone, office, errand, email) on each page, and I only use sticky notes for each context. Then if I'm taking my son to a medical appointment, I can assess quickly what errands I may be able to pile on to that outing, or if I can send emails or make calls from my phone while I wait. Things that I can only do from my home office get the 'office' context.
    I also use Sarasa pens - the color saturation is divine. And they're refillable. I have one clipped to my collar most days. ;-)

    • @InkImperfections
      @InkImperfections  3 года назад

      Yes, looking forward to it! I love that division. Much simplified. Talk soon!
