I'm 6 minutes into it.... And So far my story is coming out of your mouth. I have been living in my RV for a year now, but plugged in. I'm getting ready to take it on the road for the first time this week. I'm terrified! I've watched so many of your adventures and know I can still this. 55 and 8 years off drugs. Thank you.... Carol, I can't believe it has been five years !! I watched you from the beginning. I had been watching Bob for a year. Now I watch a dozen Nomad channels. You are the ONLY Nomad who actually likes to be out in nature by yourself. Good for you.

You're just looking at a camera but thousands of us are looking back at you watching & listening. I came across your channel when I lived in another country to the one I'm currently In. Long story short, with Covid, Job loss etc etc I lost everything & had to move to this country to stay with family and "Re-Build" in order to eventually go back to the country I love living in & through the magic of You Tube throughout it all you've been with me as much as I've been with you. You're a like a good friend who's stood by my side all the way & as corny as this sounds , you make me feel "Safe" because your wonderful vids are always there, no matter where I am In the world you're just a couple of clicks away. I wish you nothing but love, great health & happiness & just wanted to re-iterate how much of an impact you have on many of us. There are only two channels that I support and both are women I can relate to. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. While Matilda’s issues were a struggle, it made you stronger. It also inspired others like me that we don’t have to have everything perfect to live a happy nomadic adventure. I learned so much from you which is why I am one of your patrons and a big fan. Yes I am still here! Tuesday morning I am hitting the road full time. I have been sitting in my driveway in my van for a week now. Mom’s house sold in 4 days after signing, cleared it out and will sell my car tomorrow. All this less than a month after her death. But like you I have had the dream of becoming a nomad. Unlike you I did wait till I retired in 2020 so that I could live on social security. The Bay Area is so out priced I can’t believe anyone can afford it. Have always loved camping by myself and pushing the envelope of adventure. Have had many who hear that I have chosen this life style whom say I am so brave. This is actually a sad commentary on society’s view on the capabilities of women. Perhaps one of these days we will meet up on the road.

I have obligation with my animals, one being my trusted stead that I've had 22 years now, that keeps me from being on the road all the time. My oldest lost his battle, but praise God, my youngest is winning that horrible battle! My husband and I are weekenders RVing locally in the summer and snowbirds in Florida from January to April!! We love the life! At one time, I thought of doing what you did, but life happens and that dream was never my reality! I have to live it through full timers like you!! Be safe out there! The world has lost its collective mind! I’m a devout follower of Jesus Christ, so I know the end of the story......I pray you do too!

I don’t know how I missed this video. Just saw it today. Perhaps because I’ve been working on building out my van. It’s a mammoth learning curve for me as a 75 year old retired pharmaceutical rep. As the young people say “you’re the bomb!” You’re a true gift to women; showing us another way of being. You certainly influenced me. I’ve been following you for a good while. I started just before you got rid of Matilda. Of course I’ve watched the older videos as well as the more recent and current ones. I’ve told you before that I respect and admire your authenticity, candor, and ethics. With all that said this was my favorite video of all that I’ve seen. Take care and keep impacting and influencing lives. I can’t thank you enough for introducing me to a new and liberating way of being.
What a wonderful anniversary video, going back to the beginnings. I was so happy when I saw the length, because I didn't get to do the things I wanted to do this Easter. So I snuggled up and had a wonderful time. I'm filled up to the brim with happiness.

I'm from the Bay Area, my parents retired up in Pollock Pines! Was great but my mom passed away, my dad 10 months later, we had to flee from the Caldor fire while he was on hospice. They're both gone now, their house sold to a family with 3 boys. The Bay Area is.....well I'm thankful I live 2 time zones away from CA.

I just realized I started watching you within the first year you started sharing your nomadic life. I was living in my 2002 Jeep Cherokee for more than a year; not by choice. My son and I were in the process of building my little travel trailer. You were instrumental in helping me change my attitude about my new lifestyle. Each year I am able to get things I learn about on you channel or Bob's channel that I found through your channel that make my off-grid life more comfortable. Thank you for sharing. I know how difficult it has been because of the haters out there. Know you have made a positive change in the lives of many.

HI Gerri, actually, it's 5 years on the road. I've been sober 12 years, clean about 7 or 8. I thought I could handle Vicodin when I quit drinking :-(

I don’t know how I missed this video. Just saw it today. Perhaps because I’ve been working on building out my van. It’s a mammoth learning curve for me as a 75 year old retired pharmaceutical rep.
As the young people say “you’re the bomb!” You’re a true gift to women; showing us another way of being. You certainly influenced me.
I’ve been following you for a good while. I started just before you got rid of Matilda. Of course I’ve watched the older videos as well as the more recent and current ones.
I’ve told you before that I respect and admire your authenticity, candor, and ethics. With all that said this was my favorite video of all that I’ve seen.

What a wonderful anniversary video, going back to the beginnings. I was so happy when I saw the length, because I didn't get to do the things I wanted to do this Easter. So I snuggled up and had a wonderful time. I'm filled up to the brim with happiness.

I'm from the Bay Area, my parents retired up in Pollock Pines! Was great but my mom passed away, my dad 10 months later, we had to flee from the Caldor fire while he was on hospice. They're both gone now, their house sold to a family with 3 boys. The Bay Area is.....well I'm thankful I live 2 time zones away from CA.

I don’t remember how I came across your page but I was soon addicted. I went back to the beginning and watched every single video. It was like watching a series and I looked forward to the next episode. I can never live remotely due to health issues but I really appreciate you doing what you do so people like me can live vicariously. I just realized I started watching you within the first year you started sharing your nomadic life. I was living in my 2002 Jeep Cherokee for more than a year; not by choice. My son and I were in the process of building my little travel trailer. You were instrumental in helping me change my attitude about my new lifestyle. Each year I am able to get things I learn about on you channel or Bob's channel that I found through your channel that make my off-grid life more comfortable. Thank you for sharing. I know how difficult it has been because of the haters out there. Know you have made a positive change in the lives of many.
