Terrible tragedy, Awful. We all know it was the dad/husband or the 17yr old son. Unbelievable that the police ignored the woman who called and didn't do an investigation. I wonder if she should have had her husband or male relative call? They might have taken it more seriously. Shameful.
Also.. is the street reporter the brother of the reporter in studio? They are Identical except the on scene reporter looks a bit older. It's amazing. They have to be related somehow.
In Utah women are 2nd class citizens. Women aren’t believed. Also nepotism is rife in Utah. Why is this a surprise?

Why do they ask neighbors about the events ? Someone who has nothing to do with event.
Its called an investigation! You know police work? Thats what you do!!! Talk to EVERYBODY!!.
Did they hear any arguing or did they hear any gun shots or loud noises , what was the family like, just general questions to piece together a picture of what happened or when it happened.
Because they only speak spanish. This is an English speaking country & we don't stoop to accommodate

How do you know that? How would they know whether or not the neighbor had anything to do with it unless they ask?
It's not unlike the reporter that was interviewing the killer and didn't know it till the reporter informed the "neighbor" that they'd found a body and his whole demeanor changed.
So sad. But why the police didn’t check the house on the first call? They could be able to save some of them.

And only a tiny number of incidents despite millions of owners. It's as if the problem isn't guns at all and you're just using them as an easy scapegoat.
We need to understand and help people better not punish law abiding folks or inanimate objects. Last thing we need is more government meddling and incompetence.

If you’re gonna throw out some statistics, you might wanna realize you got about 1.8 cops per 1000 people and if you decide you wanna come and get the guns you’re gonna run out of cops by their first coffee break

How do I not worry about my safety if there is no explanation on who killed these people?? Otherwise just be honest and tell us it was the 17 year old boy, and we have no need to worry because he’s at the hospital and cannot harm anyone..

Pretty simple detective work here, who was the gun found near the 17 year old in the garage or the father dead in the house. Just deductive reasoning.
He was found in the garage, possibly trying to get away? I hope that's not how it happened....
He could have gotten shot by someone else and ran away while the murderer was going after others, we just don't know at this point@@brendapful

West valley City Police department failed that family.
Police showed up, Nothing to see here......2 1990ish Providence RI. Johnson and Wales students were killed by a gang initiation. In a Chevy Blazer with illegal window tint. They ran a red light in front of a cruiser, who flashed his lights to slow down and drove away. Imagine the cops are right there and they leave. Found them in a golf course pond.
Something doesn’t add up like how did the gun end up under the father‘s body suicide? why no one heard all the gunshots and who was disturbing the peace did the police check it out? and why wouldn’t they know what school the teenager went to or the younger children? What is the parent’s name? I hope and pray they find out what happened. My deepest condolences go out to their family.
This happened in Utah, so, I'm not surprised! The same goes for Florida, Oklahoma or any of the "flyover" states.
