You know that mixed feeling in the end of a game when you just realize you have finished it and the ending credits starts to roll and the music kicks in. It’s a relief and at the same time something sad about it. Awesome work SnesDrunk ❤️
Sheet chrono trigger is definitely number 1. Tear jerker childhood memories lol Cybernator. Castlevania 4 and of course DEMONS CREST end themes are gems too
Man. You picked the two best endings for the start and finish of this video. FFVI is hands down my favorite FF. So much emotion in that ending theme. Guess it's time to play it again.
I like how this ends. First the sounds of the wonderful parade in Mario RPG, then the last ever SNES game's end credits music, then the 21 minute epic of FF6 to finish things off. Great video! Also Konami's Cybernator is broken, the pitch somewhat rises to normal at beginning and rises more at the end.
Great compilation... Only one that I would want to add, off the top of my head, is the Street Fighter II end credits (I believe it was the same for SF2 Turbo as well). (And possibly Super Mario World for nostalgia's sake).
This list is heavily lacking of Lufia II, the ending music is soooooo goddamn beautiful.....and so damn sad when you see the cutscene to it as well, always makes me tear up, even 30 years later. But apart from that, really beautiful list ❤
@@JohnnyBooksDK Eh, it's different enough that it doesn't fall under copyright law. That is under normal circumstances. Though, Yngwie Malmsteen did sue the folks who made Ys IV because of an intro to a song in that game that was strikingly similar to his song "Far beyond the sun". Which is funny, because that song, far beyond the sun, sounds an awful lot like the mansion music in castlevania 2, which came out 2 years earlier than said song. Go figure.

Some additional recommendations: - Flashback - Gunple (Gunman's Proof) - Donkey Kong Country 2 Also, I always found it interesting how similar Starfox's end credits were to the Superman movie credits, both in visuals and musical style. While Super Metroid is an amazing game, its ending music isn't actually all that impressive. Kirby 3's ending actually reminds me a lot of the ending music in Kirby Superstar's Milky Way Wishes. They have similar styles. I think that song is actually slightly better than the Kirby 3 ending.
So many great credits themes, but you're missing possibly the most emotional of them all. the ending theme to Lufia 2 Rise of the Sinistrals brings me to tears every time I hear it.
Nobuo's best sountrack was Final Fantasy VI and that ending. It is so fantastic. I love that he went out on such a high note for the game. No other Final Fantasy deserved it more up until that point, or since in my opinion. That game cartridge had five dozen songs plus this ending. Which is at least 3 or 4 songs in length compared to the others. 10/10, would get goosebumps again.
+Copper Whiskers Thanks, timestamps are fixed, I forgot I cut Cybernator way down since it was just the same thing over and over for 5 minutes. Box art is from The Cover Project
Great list, but is it really legal to make a list with the best ending songs and not include The Second Truth from the Left from Secret of Mana? Anyways, Terranigma's ending track is just simply amazing, that's art rather than music!
The medley at the end of FFVI is incredible. I maintain that it has the most emotional and cinematic single ending of any 16 bit game.
Yea i just went on a sunday morning journey with that ff6 medley LOL
Man that Chrono Trigger end theme gives me goosebumps every time

Awesome work SnesDrunk ❤️
I like how the ending for Ogre Battle is the main theme for Tactics Ogre, gives a real feeling of continuity
Sheet chrono trigger is definitely number 1. Tear jerker childhood memories lol Cybernator. Castlevania 4 and of course DEMONS CREST end themes are gems too
We love snes drunk!!!
“Damn it’s true.”
When my dad and I finished legend of zelda a link to the past,...the feels! This is always our game!
All of these hit pretty hard in the feels.
I feel so proud to have played all of these games lol

What a great video. These are the tracks that usually are at the end of OSTs, so I don´t usually listen to them. Great idea!
Thanks to this playlist, I finally found out name of that castle theme for _Final Fantasy VI:_
*Figaro Castle!* 😤
10:19 Im not crying, its a link to the past which entered my eye...
Mario RPG Ending theme still make me cry after 16 years...
@Toca do Hyoga sempre!
hard to beat the DKC ending credits... such a good feeling when you beat that game
Bittersweet, you're both happy and sad that it's all over.
@@SolidMike84 TRUE
Ive been listening to this on a regular basis for a couple years now
Wonderful music selection
I can't find the Relaxing SNES videos, is it just me?
They unfortunately got copyright struck by Square Enix.
@@budsunny thanks for the answer, that sucks!
Wow, Link to the Past. Lovely.

Great list, I'd recommend Super Ghouls and Ghosts. The credit theme made it feel worthwhile to have finally beaten it

Just found this video, very nice my guy.
Glad Axelay made the cut, seems like an hidden gem but grew up playing that game. Ending gets me everytime.
I love the cast roll for Megaman X3, you should give it a listen if you havent!
Came here looking for FFVI's credits, saved the best for the last!
Nothing beats the sound of the the good ol’ SNES.
That Act Raiser song tho! So epic
Doesn't the opening to Actraiser's ending sound like the 20century fox intro?
For real! No one else has noticed!!
Yes it sounds exactly like it, i wonder if they where ever sued? the 20 century fox intro is from 1933 so you know who was there first;)

I think its more like an hommage. Actraiser is directly inspired by the peplum made by 20 th century fox earlier
credits music for Tetris Attack/Panel de Pon is REALLY good
SMT I ending theme should be included also imo. Awesome track, and for ending suits just awesome

Fantastic
Love these lists 👍

16:27 "hold up"
"Wow I didn't know the SNES could make such realistic guitar sounds ... oh wait, nevermind."
Haha! Yeah, bait and switch ;)
Ты крут!
Проделана огромная работа!
First time I heard Actraiser's. I can NEVER seem to beat the final boss. And the beginning of it sounds like 20th Century Fox...
Absolutely! I wasn't sure what was going on when I heard it in this mix.
Fantastic list, but damn is it ever missing SMW. That's the epitome of "ending theme" in my mind.
Actually, Koji Kondo did a better job in the whole ost in SMW than ALTP!!!
Chrono Trigger, by way, WAY... WAY far. But Actraiser is great too.
I really need to play FFVI someday….Lunar will always be my favorite but I think VI might give it a run for it’s money
Was that your guitar in the beginning?? Very nice!
Tales Of Phantasia and Seiken Densetsu 3 are missing (They may have only been released in Japan, but still).
You forgot the credit roll from the flintstones!!!! IT'S. THE. BEST!!!
Listening to this in 2023, as I work on the ending to my graphic novel.
Wild Guns for me has the best ending music, EarthBound is a close second.
I'm really disappointed that you didn't put Kirby Super Star's Ending Theme
The FFIII/VI credits is 20 minutes long. XD
you're missing the best credits theme, Kirby Super Star's Milky Way Wishes
That one always gets overlooked, definitely one of the best
I was going to say that!
Revenge of Meta Knight is better
I Would put the ending music for super Adventure Island II is great too.
❤️🕹️🎮👾❤️
super man, this is just peaches
Check timestamps from FFIV and on. Also do you get your box art from google or somewhere specific? Thx for vid.

Did ActRaiser rip off the 20th Century Fox theme? lol
Super mario world and Darius twin
You have Secret of Evermore but not Secret of Mana? Sacrilege! Still, nice playlist I GUESSSS.
I actually have an issue with Secret Of Evermore, its ending doesn't sound like one, at least to me!!!
