Years ago, my first guitar was a Synsonics (Total junk), and it had a built in speaker. I caught MAJOR crap for that with my friends! "Dude, that guitar isn't real...it needs a 9-volt battery!!" I learned to play enough that my mom knew I was serious, so she bought me an Epiphone so I wouldn't get shamed so much. These days, it's ok?? I guess it was ahead of its time...maybe not. Either way, it got me on my guitar journey and all those jerks that gave me a hard time say "Wow, you're still playing??" I say "Yep, all because of that piece of junk with a built it battery." Wish I still had it...........
That was also my first guitar infact i was sad i got rid of mine although i was like 6 or 7 years old either way i recently found one for under $100 like $80 is what i paid and ill tell you its not half bad 30 something years later they made them in korea go figure!
Nice! That seems like something I would actually consider buying. It'd be cool to kick back in the recliner, plug in some headphones and jam away without having to get cables and amplifiers involved.
i have x4 pro acoustic and i take it everywhere and just bought evh wolfgang standard, but i'm getting one of these...i've been very happy with my enya acoustic...good vid by the way.
I have seen reviews quite a lot and here is another one. I am really excited to get one for myself. The only thing that I am struggling with is how long does the battery last and what's the warranty.
Been playing guitar for nearly 2 decades now & was looking to buy a travel guitar or even a beginner set just to have at work & this sonic go seems to cover all the needs in 1! Might buy this 1 afterall.
I really appreciate the practicality of this guitar as I'm building my overland Jeep and would love to camp and play guitar by the camp fire or lounging in a hammock perhaps. I would like to see it evolve even a bit further to a headless version with tuner bridge. 'Tis logical.
Really cool concept for a beginners guitar. Looks good and the audio in the video sounded fine for a 10~12 watt built-in speaker. Wanna get my hands on one and try it out. 🎼🎶🎵🎶🎸✌😎
It’s cool 😎 Perfect couch or travel guitar and it sounds pretty good too! I think I’d rather have this all-in-one solution that I don’t have to plug anything in or listen through headphones. I have the first Enya acoustic and it was a great little travel guitar. I’m sold if I can find space for another guitar. And there’s always space for another guitar 😅.
I am a singer-songwriter and a guitarist. I own a Les Paul guitar. I was planning to get valeton Gp-200 to enhance my music writing (specifically) now that I've seen this NOVA go SONIC ...I'm also leaning toward getting this one instead..because it has it all for composing and practice at such an affordable price. Now I'm confused about which one to purchase...another guitar or a multiprocessor?
I have the regular acoustic Nova Go. The neck was too fat, so I took a file to reshape it and painted the back of the neck with spray can paint and painted the bridge. It looks great, much better. I contacted Nova to ask about painting the front, and they said that would affect tone. LOL. Tone? LOL. Plastic Tone is going to sound like plastic no matter what I did. So I put some stickers on it. Still sounds like plastic. I leave it in the car 365 days a year. 100 deg F no problem. It's for going to the Beach, hiking, kayaking. It's plastic! When I want tone, I go for my Taylor. Lol.
Landon, I have a Fender ios and on that you can change the settings on the amp can you? Can you turn the nobs on the amp as it was was on full in your video thanks
Pretty cool. Prob a good travel guitar. That said, I think I'd prefer to use the new Katana Go headphone amp with my existing guitar, if I was wanting to take a guitar travelling.
I hope Enya is paying a boatload for all these videos but I still think it's not enough. Other than bot comments who seem to love it what guitarist is actually interested in a guitar with a built in speaker?
I really think it’s neat as a practice guitar that you can take anywhere and play without having to worry about powering an amp and pedals. The effects plus speaker seems to be the difference. Great for street playing (busking), campfire jams when it will otherwise be unreasonable to play an electric, with effects. Anyone who prefers electric and likes to play in any situation other than at home will love it
I was just thinking to myself that I have been dissapointed with almost every amp I've ever used, never wanting to drop a thousand to get a satisfying tone. I don't like lugging them around either. I was wishing someone would release and AFFORDABLE guitar with a speaker built in, and bam, NINETENDO WII GUITAR
its not, if it would be cheaper.. actually you have immortal guitar that weighted 2.7kg. Ibanez AES 671 costs 800$ or Yamaha RGX A2 costs 600$+ and discontinued. Any carbon fiber now costs 1200$+ So if you want lightweight guitar with perfect straight neck its an option. Also you can replace all electronics and it still will be cheaper than others.

Dang, I almost bought a Synsonics in a pawn shop a few years ago but the speaker didn't work...
you are talking about the one from Toys R Us. I had two of those
Nice! That seems like something I would actually consider buying. It'd be cool to kick back in the recliner, plug in some headphones and jam away without having to get cables and amplifiers involved.
You mean like the katana go or fender micro allows without having to buy a separate guitar with a hokey speaker?
I honestly do like the idea of a lightweight, full sized guitar with the speaker. Nice little practice/travel option.
Wow, Landon, your playing has really improved!
oh hey thanks! I've been doing lessons for a year now and really focusing on trying to sound better in my videos

I have the Nova Go acoustic and I bring it camping all the time. It’s a blast to play and is definitely worth the couple of hundred I spent on it.

I have their 1/2 size acoustic, the Nova Go, and it is the perfect couch noodling acoustic. Enya makes good quality gear and a really good price.
Really cool concept for a beginners guitar. Looks good and the audio in the video sounded fine for a 10~12 watt built-in speaker. Wanna get my hands on one and try it out. 🎼🎶🎵🎶🎸✌😎
Rock on!
It looks like across between the Gibson Buckethead guitar and Yamaha RGXA2 - I like it
Seems like you can do a lot of experimenting with these. Price isn’t bad at all. I’d try one.
Thank you for mentioning that the neck is thin. None of the other reviewers provided that information.
No problem!
Ok, after this honest review I’ll buy one. I found it on Amazon at 399€ (Italy). This is a great guitar to start jamming again at home 🏠

Great video. Did you make adjustments to the app to reduce feedback from the speaker? Thank you.
Not that I recall
Will it still keep working as a normal guitar with passive pickups if something goes wrong with the amp and speaker system.?

You might try Elixir Polyweb strings. Improved the sound on mine to my ears.
interesting that you filed the neck cos the fat neck was what stopped me from buying it. would be nice if there was a video to show it should be done
They didn't really say painting would effect the tone did they? That's hilarious.
Landon, I have a Fender ios and on that you can change the settings on the amp can you? Can you turn the nobs on the amp as it was was on full in your video thanks
I'm not sure what you're asking
@@landonbailey Can you turn the nobs on the amp as it was was on full in your video thanks
Weird stuff. We truly live in the golden age of guitars. They come in so many varieties.
Hello, can we use the speaker as a Bluetooth speaker to jam with backing track ?
I didn’t try but they say this ‘The wireless connectivity allows you to play backing tracks through the speaker.’
great vid! can you tell me what the 'doomsday clock' does? I'm sure this has asked before
Decibel meter :)
@@landonbailey ahhh of course! thanks so much
What is that clock thing behind you I have seen this in many RUclips videos
ruclips.net/video/WNQhjHAlDVI/видео.html
That’s a perfect slouch & shred on a couch guitar. Or a practice while too lazy to set everything else up guitar. I like the white. I’m sold.
I am interested though i need a accoustic more
i have enya x4 pro and it's a great acoustic...youtube it.
Has anybody ever used one to gig with? The sounds always sound a little bit hollow to me.
Pretty cool. Prob a good travel guitar.
That said, I think I'd prefer to use the new Katana Go headphone amp with my existing guitar, if I was wanting to take a guitar travelling.
the Katana Go looks awesome!
This one I will buy. Just waiting for the black one to be available in Germany. White is not my favorite color
Can the battery be replaced?
I think so. check out this video: ruclips.net/video/C8CNzfi6xEc/видео.htmlfeature=shared&t=1814
Does it have any neck dive?
no
Pickups are alnico II and alnico V neck/ bridge
🎸👍
Up enya!
I like it.
Seems slick n YES BLUE IS BETTER!!
Enja, you can Sail Away with this guitar 🎸 sail away, sail away, sail away...
😝😱🎸🦄🥕👋
@@landonbailey 👍😀
It's a Wii guitar and I love that.

Or solid state amps… I can see this the perfect travel/ practice guitar. Change is a good thing

What price is it going for
what did I say in the video? :)
It looks like Toshiba made a guitar
Interesting for only $399…on Amazon.
I am now going to call them fredges
Too complicated for me. Sometimes I have a hard time plugging my tele into my Blues Jr.
"Unlike some companies that make other guitar that aren't real guitar but they advertise them as a way to learn guitar."
Oh I know what you mean LOL
That's a pretty darn good sounding guitar. But that's a much better Zelda shirt.
i got that in blue!!!!!!! LOL just kidding i know your addicted to blue

That digital counter behind you is really annoying..
it's a broken clock
enya nova go sonic smart guitar electric not suck, it good
good prince etc
What should have shocked you was the $400+ price
Too bad it doesn’t have stainless steel frets (being that almost everything coming out of China has SS frets these days).
Oh yes it does!! It’s a Fisher Price looking POS.
you've tried one in person?
If I want a Les Paul I'll buy the real deals Epiphone and Gibson..
It is junk.😂

Ah, but never forget that one person's junk is another person's jewel. ;-)
