@@yanfeimain9135 can you let me know the parts that are wrong, and ill fix them? i did kinda write em late at night, and i thought these were accurate. thank youu
@@ryu_ig sure here you go
line 1: should be "aru [hi]", not "aru nichi"
line 3: idk where the "e" at the end came from
line 4: "shishi [rui rui]"
line 5: "REVIEW [chichin pui pui]"
line 7: "ishi [ui ui]", [yon, go, san, roku] [nekan de]"
line 8: no need to put furigana separately in brackets, you can just replace the actually said pronunciation straight up ^^
line 9: "isshou [konnan bakka]"
line 12: same as line 8, goes for every instance except for "TUTORIAL" actually
line 13: "naite[n no tte sa]
line 14: "[aa aa aa aa] [shuppi pari pa] pipipi"
line 15: "pi pi pi [shu] pi [pari pa] [nnn]

line 25: "yami yami [taimurain (says TIMELINE)] ra ni"
line 26: "naite [notte sa]"
line 27 ~ 31: idk what's happening here either so just replace it with
"[aa aa aa aa shupiparipa pipipi
shupi pani pipipi shupiparipa nnn
iya iya aa aa shupiparipa pipipi
shupi pani shupipa shupipari pipipipi
shupipani shupipa shupipari

line 32: "you ni [shirusu] aware ni"
line 33: "aishiteru noni [kageni ne o] hari"
line 34: im an idiot there's nothing wrong here except for the "e" at the end again (where did those come from even)
an easy way to check if the romaji is correct is to just listen to the song, if they clearly dont line up then it's incorrect :p
This is my personal opinion on how I view the song:
Starting of the song/Intro: 0:01 - 0:30
I do not feel like there's a specific audience or someone she's speaking to - it's just a thing which is the world. She mentions in the beginning 'Despite that I have *loved* you' using past tense, so she used to love the world before.
Verse: 0:30 - 0:51
It heavily implies here on how the audience is the world as it suggested 'turf' and 'lagoon', within the sentence she mentioned about the cruelty of the world due to the chaos that cannot be fixed or rebuilt. States a lot about suffering in many ways.
Eg. 'Euthanasia - review'; '(there's no) TUTORIAL/guide to this *relentless* road'; 'provoking resentment causes suffering'; 'intentions gradually crumbling *melancholically*'; 'I'm jealous'.
Pre-chorus: 0:51 - 1:03
She starts to go on questions 'oh why' assuming that perhaps she's confused on why the world was formed to such a society, why is it not possible not to be fixed? Afterwards she begins to speak about 'is it red? (inflamed)' speaking still about the uproar of this world, and that this will never end. 'Shall I administer the medicine' heavily implies to the fact that she's taking medicine so the world in her eyes will seem to be perfect instead of her seeing the cracks of it.
Chorus: 1:03 - 1:25
This obviously goes back to the intro (somewhat) still expressing that she used to love the world and on how it left her so harmed at the end. She even mentions 'dummies' indicating that we are still fools and do not know everything the world has to offer us (mostly cruelty). She goes on to ask us a rhetorical question 'It's tough, right?' not wanting to feel like she's the only one suffering as well as trying to reflect the question on to herself in an indirect way.
Bridge/Verse 2/Pre chorus?: 1:25 - 1:57
'HA HA HA HA HA HA HA' bit demonstrates on how the medicine is taking effect on her body, making her feel 'happy' and making the pain go away. After that she repeats almost the same words she mentioned earlier in the first pre-chorus. 'A lifetime of nothing but chaos, a miserable story' displays that she sees the world is full of emptiness and it's a hopeless case so it's a 'miserable story' to her view. 'Let me give you some damn medicine too' bluntly declares she is forcing the medicine into our mouth, slowly becoming the same cruelness as the world shows - she doesn't want to suffer the pain alone and wants others to as well because we're humans and we're selfish beings.
Chorus 2: 1:57 - 2:23
Refers to the first chorus and intro on how we are 'dummies' and on how she used to love the world, though she is still confused on why she is crying even though she doesn't love anymore. 'Shut your mouth!' shows the change in her personality and now is just giving 'us' commands not even caring on how 'we' feel.
Ending of the song/Outro: 2:23 - 2:56
At the end, she felt like a discarded shell, like she's meaningless and that there's no point to anything. Right before it turns black we see the medicine in her mouth meaning she didn't stop having medicine which may conclude to many things (obviously not good purposes/endings).
{Thank you for the translation!}
fellow translator here - a few notes to add to your interpretation! the translation isnt “incorrect” because it’s every translator’s choice to make liberties like this but it does differ a bit from the literal translation for the sake of conveying emotion, so a few bits of your interpretation don’t match the original japanese:
- in the original japanese, “aishiteru no ni” is not past tense, and is in fact more likely to be present tense. in english in this type of sentence “have loved” could mean they either still do or no longer do, but the past tense implication is explicitly not present in japanese.
- “okusuri mo sazukemashou” (“Shall I administer the medicine”) could also be translated along the lines of “let’s give you some medicine, too”. A grammatical distinction thats really difficult to convey in english here is that the implication is “medicine in addition to something else given”, as opposed to “medicine given to you in addition to someone else”. “you” isnt even necessarily mentioned here, there’s a lot of grammar in this sentence thats really difficult to convey in english 😅 extremely literally it might be “let’s give medicine, too”.
- “shindoi na”(“it’s tough, right?”) is more literally “tiring” rather than tough, and it could possibly be asking the listener for confirmation, but it could also be a softened way of self-reflection or expressing what the speaker things (“I’m so tired”) without necessarily implying the audience would feel the same thing.
- “ussai na” (“shut your mouth”) is not a literal translation, and it’s not a command in japanese (although it sometimes is used the same way as “shut up”). more literally, it’s more of an insult, like “how noisy/annoying”, so it could be to anyone, and does not specifically/directly address the listener.
you have an interesting interpretation! and like i said this is a totally valid way of the uploader translating the song, but its a reminder that some of the nuances and original intention of the producer can be lost in translation when it comes to interpretation.
@@irabbit_ ty, it's nice to hear other ppl's way of translating it!
If possible, it would be nice if someone would tell me the difference between 'aishititeru no ni' and 'aishite ita noni'
@@randomlysane super late, sorry, but the first one is present tense (as "aishite iru no ni") and the second is past tense. The first implies it is something that is ongoing, a current process, and the second implies that it is a process in the past that has ended.
Thank you! I was sooo confused before :D
Damn bro, as a miserable Turkish translator i envy your work. Your edits are so well-made and amazing, keep goin!!★
oh my god you get these out at the speed of lightning. great work!!
finally! ever since the day they posted the song I've been waiting for someone to post it with english lyrics! >_< TYSM FOR THE TRANSLATION 💖💖
I love this!!!!
Only critique is the ad/credits at the end is kinda weird when I put it in my music playlist but I also wouldn’t have known about KB’s live otherwise lmao
hey ぱーる ちゃんSIMP
your translation is stunning as usual
OHHH THIS IS SO GOOD!!! I love your subtitling so much it's brimming with style
Also love how your work helps me keep tabs on kairiki bear's songs that I miss, tysm!
JUST REALIZED IT WAS RELEASED YESTERDAY HAHA- I have no idea why the OG video didn't enter my recommended!!!!
Is it weird that karikibear sorta reminds me of ghost and pals? I stopped listening to them but ghost and pals kinda has the same vibe i feel like, does anyone else feel this way? Especially anatasama, ghost and pals does the little voice scratches too, might be what im hearing lol.
The English subtitles really help me thank you!
I just translated this one too :D
thanks
Awesome!! I love your translations so much!
This song fits Freedom from Wings of Fire for some reason
So what is this song about? I love this song so much but idk what the lyrics are😭 anyway this song slaps
I was just waiting for it, tysm!
Oh thank you so much!!
I’m curious the reason you translated the title the way you did. I’m asking because I took a year of Japanese in college but that barely scratches the surface of the language. Would it be incorrect to leave ステロイド as steroids?
the title would just be vent account ( as in: alternate account on social media to use as an outlet for venting abt depression and stuff since yami can translate to mental illness etc )
@@yanfeimain9135 that makes sense, thanks
At times she sounds like she's going insane, like the "hahahaha" part
I LOVE YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH
OH YEAAH!~~
amazing video as always..!!! Love all your edits ❤❤

Oh wait what it says the chords at 0:50 ?!
How did you translate the song name?
Didn't notice the docs! But wouldn't Sick-Lit Steroid(s) make more sense?
@@54D3-P yamiaka is basically term for this type of vent account which is mentioned in the doc. also there is 愚痴垢 - vent account too, but more about complaints
@@54D3-P
The thought process was that 病み垢 specifically refers to SNS and the title itself is a majour REFFERENCE to having vent accounts
This is heavily supported by the kairiki bear light novel where the whole plot revolves around the 3 kairiki bear girls who have "needy girl syndrome" mainly because they have a vent account to post their complaints Abt their lives
Hoped this helped ^^
@@simp1038 Who are the three Kairiki Bear girls and what light novel :O
@@54D3-P its ranobe and manga series called "venom kyuuaisei shoujo shoukougun" about a syndrome that sharpens girls' feelings. characters are based on venom, darling dance and failure girl songs!! it's surprisingly super interesting
SO FAST?
omgg no wayy, i just realised that you made this, i can drop the romaji lyrics right here if you want?
Please do!!!
