Dear Subscribers: RUclips recently changed the way they monetize my content. My channel now needs 1,000 so it would be awesome if you could show your support by both watching my videos and subscribing to my channel if you haven't already done so. Monetizing my videos allows me to invest back into the channel with new equipment so a small gesture from you goes a huge way for me. Many thanks for your support!
Good video. No talking or comments. Good camera work as well.

What a pain as far as getting the rivets & moving back the lining, I knew that was the process & am glad your vid helped me make sure this had to be done.
THANK YOU! 😊

Thank God for long lasting led bulbs 🙏🙏🙏❤️

You're welcome.
Your video made the job easy. Thanks for posing it.
Glad to have helped.
I would add, make sure the bulbs work before reassembling 👍👍👍👍
Good point.
Thank you
Glad to have helped!
*** Just want to add this quick but important input: You don''t need to unscrew the emergency lock. You can just remove the "carpet or liner" to get easy access to the license plate bulbs by: (1) removing all the rivets to free up the carpet (2) Then slide the carpet over the emergency release handle. The rest of the work is pretty easy. ***
Good to know! Thanks for sharing!
OMG. Toyota dropped the ball on that design ⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽
Thank you for making this video
Glad to have helped!
Quite the helpful video 👌
Thanks! Glad to have helped.
Wish you wouldve shown the after pic of the new leds! Nice video anyways
We tried to but, couldn't get a good pic. The LEDs brightness in the dark was distorting the picture. However having said that, I recommend these LEDs. They are definitively brighter and change the look of the car at night from behind.
Thank you,bossman
You're welcome sir.
Forrest Gump simple.. thank you!
Heh heh, you're welcome.
There a difference for R or L in replacement bulb? Hot side marked led replacement with red dot it seems
The bulbs were all the same.
This procedure works on Toyota 2006 Camry as well.
Good to know! Thanks for commenting!
Nice and easy
Thanks.
Correction-counter clockwise (right side bulb attachment) for removal.
Emergency release handle can stay on. Just twist trunk inside cover
Noted. Thanks for pointing that out.
Same procedure for 2nd generation (2000-2004) Avalon.
Good to know. Thanks for sharing! :)

I have to do this. I got a ticket in commifornia that my plates cannot clearly be seen from 50 feet away. Both my currents bulbs are burning by the way. So, I'm going to replace working bulbs with working bulbs. This is a fix -it ticket that they only clear during daylight hours. When I've been calling to ask: How are you going to determine if my license plate can be seen from 50 feet away at night while conducting this inspection at 2PM, I get a lot of anger, attitude, and they don't want to speak with me anymore.
Sorry to hear. :( Hope the video helped with the install.
