I’m finally catching up on this video. Looking good, Dave. I love the curve on that Chinese Elm. I always appreciate when you explain your thought process as you’re working on your trees.
Two promising maples and it is always intriguing to see the point when a tree starts to take a new direction. I look forward to seeing how you repot that Chinese Elm Dave :)
Great learning video for us newbies. You know me, Dave. I do have a question. With the Chinese Elm and windswept design, the elm creates a fernlike leaf structure. With all the branches you have there, will they be shading each other out? Also, having an image from the top would be excellent. Then, we can see how the branches spread out to get the "depth."
Great content with Winter pruning...I have finished my deciduous pruning and starting my conifers..I have a couple that I'm, going to 'break' the tops off but not sure if this the right time during heavy dormancy to do such large 'chop'...What do you think, Dave? TFS...
@@n8tyler I’ve always thought that while the sap is not really flowing, we are good to chop. Though I think many will chip late winter. I think I’m saving my bigger chips until February.
Great video and reminder that I can be wiring some of my trees during the winter time.
Nice wind swept looking beautiful thanks David

Great windswept tree and video, thanks for sharing.
Nice winter work Dave
Love that Chinese Elm. Stay warm my friend,
Winter work on the trees. Wiring looks good. I don't think Nigel would mind on this tree. A relaxing video to watch.
