Winters Rigging. Historic Railroad Heavy Rigging...Fort Erie Turntable Removal.

Many years ago the old CNRR turntable at the Fort Erie Ontraio Roundhouse was removed and relocated to Attica NY. Winters Rigging, a derailment contractor and rigging company did the job. Caterpillar 583 Sidebooms were used to remove and load out the 85' and 65 ton turntable. I was a younger man then... and the one running the 583 without winter curtains over the engine area.

can't even remember....early 90's maybe..or late 80's.
