I’ve washed them many times and I can tell you they just get softer and their claws do not affect the shape or integrity of the design!! 🧶🤗❤️

Pet beds/blanket etc I’ve made a few things for my cats & dogs from yarn I’ve picked up on clearance - Bernat Blanket Extra Thick. I’ve just made a round for them. They sleep on it all the time. Then I picked up a few skeins of Hobby Lobby Yarn Bee Fleece Lite Yarn and made some rectangle beds for them. It’s really great. Both are holding up well.
As a mom of 3 boys I love you guys. One day I hope one of my sons (3,7,and 16) either want to learn or maybe I’ll have a grandchild that would love to pick up the hobby! These videos just make me so happy!

I’ve been making blankets for my 11 yo Corgi mix since he was born and I’ve found that RHSS is really durable esp through the laundry … yes pets nails take a toll so I stick with that quality. For everything else knitting and crochet projects I appreciate the nice yarn which is why your vids are sooo helpful! Take care keep inspiring!

Crochet blankets hold up really well for big German Shepherds who have totally destroyed all other bedding. Acrylic hold up better than pure wool. I normally use C2C or Tunisian simple stitch. I believe they hold up well because they stretch rather than tear
Glenda you can use all that yarn you got the other day the cotton round ball you can make market bags with them , Cody with the yarn you want to make a blanket with btw it's beautiful do 4 x 4 swatches of the stitches and you will find the stitch you will like that way you will love your blanket more since there is a lot of stitches or just take some junky yarn that is close to urs and try 2 rows hope this helps , Thank You for another great video 📷 !!
I make pet (dog/cat) afghans. Made a bunch for my dog - he's loves them, fluffs them up. I use dbl strands of red heart super saver - it crochets up fast using an N hook, 2x2 or 2 1/2x2 1/2 granny square, different borders, very durable, wash/dry friendly, and cheap - ha ha ha. I made 7 for my friend when her dog had puppies - made each a different color to match each puppy's collar - everybody loved them.
So funny, I was just thinking that with your group getting larger, you need to put stuff on eBay or wherever. My other fav channel isn't doing much, so I'm streaming all your videos!!
Hello Cody and Glenda: I so enjoy your videos. Here’s a suggestion for Cody: like you, I enjoy working with #5 and #6 weight yarn, especially the Bernat Blanket yarn. I would love to see some stitch samplers that go well with heavier weight yarns. I love making wheelchair lap blankets, chemo blankets and toddler/ child blankets to donate. Thank you! ( PS… I am bidding for one of your blankets, Cody.)
You could always cake up your swatches and make a scrap yarn blanket or several blankets and donate them to charity. Just a thought. I love when you do the swatch videos. They really show what the yarn would look like worked up before I purchase it.
Here's an idea maybe make a yarn swatch sampler blanket or bag with them. You could also maybe do something like a scrap beanie I guess. Just something I thought of.

I crochet blankets and my dog Piper takes a lot of them I had one on the back of my chair and I had to keep picking it up and then I finally got him pulling it down so I gave it to him lol he gets what he want but no fuzzy yarns that gets in his eyes and pick the foes out but just regular acrylic yarn he's fine with but he's a small dog a chiweenie he spoiled rotten Love him That's why you have pets to love on

We only get canvas or very thin material bags at our shops which you have to buy. I prefer to take my own. Saves money too.
