    Bro that was absolutely the best advice I've ever heard about getting out of your comfort zone to do color. I'm just starting out so I'm going to stick to black and grey portraits but this really helped me understand color ones for when I start. Badass video and work man. Appreciate it!

    How come you put the image facing back instead of forward like what is normally the norm when it comes to placing stencils, obviously there are exceptions like inner forearm,inner bicep, etc but why facing back in this placement?
    Very nice piece though 👊

    • @therealbronson
      @therealbronson  Год назад +1

      Hi great question this thigh is going to be filled with colour portraits and the one above the last image will face the other way to be able to fit in tighter to the last.unless it’s a full portrait area like this I agree allways have the image facing forward.

    Hey man you do amazing work, I also do color photorealism but trying to learn it in tattooing too. Do you have any tips how to match colors when tattooing. I noticed that once the color is injected it has a strong color shift

    • @therealbronson

      Hi Thankyou. Do you mean matching the ink colour to your reference colour if so I allways find painting makes for very good colour tattoo artist I try and do afew oil paintings a year to stay learning and continuing to make accurate colour tones/ colour decisions while tattooing.

      @@therealbronson I’ve been using the base set myself and absolutely love it, I find I don’t need to use nearly as much as other brands to get an insane amount of coverage. I definitely love them , the yellows and oranges are so vibrant!

    Amazing tattoo! I'm curious to what voltage you used here? Thanks!

    • @therealbronson
      @therealbronson  Год назад +1

      Hi this would have been 11.2 volts with the inkjecta now I’m using 6.8 with the dragon hawk fold pro for my black and grey especially.

    • @troygroff4512
      @troygroff4512 Год назад

      @therealbronson OK! Cool! You are packing the color in with higher voltage but lower for black & grey to get nice and smooth transitions. Is this why? I imagine one is a 4 stroke or higher and for black & grey a 3.5 stroke? Thanks!

    Great videos! I'm curious about how you can make your stencils. Do you hand draw them on the back of the actual picture with a transfer pencil? I've looked and can't seem to find one like it. What sort of pencil, what's it called and where can I you get them? Thanks

    • @therealbronson
      @therealbronson  Год назад

      Yes this was just a hand stencil with spirit stencil paper and a pen. If you want a really nice line on your stencil put a piece of paper under it it makes it much bolder
