While they were lacking, to say that's the only thing they done is really a bit low. The affordability for their gravity filters are much more affordable VS the other current brands. Competition is always great.
Bought it on sale at REI and works so well. I like having the filter outside like the Platypus. I've dropped this system on sand, sharp wet rocks, and have had it slide down a slope and hasn't tore open, and the mouth of the filter never popped open. Really liking it so far 👌
After using it and have a camp trip where it got clogged hard, it sucks how you designed the gravity bag when used gravity mode. All the sediment collects into the filter such a bad design compared to like platy gravity. You could have made a way to attach the tubing to the filter while it's inside the bag that would have been an easy way to solve it.
Would you be able to open up a lifestraw peak series straw and add charcoal? Or if not could you use the filter from the lifetstraw go as a straw filter like a normal lifestraw straw?
