The Fighter, American Psycho, The Dark Knight Trilogy, The Prestige, Empire of the Sun, The Machinist, 3:10 to Yuma, Rescue Dawn, American Hustle and so on.
Brilliant and diverse actor Bale is. One of my all time favorites.
He was absolutely brilliant in the Machinist.
Hell yeah! Not to mention all the effort he put in each and every role to fit in properly.

I love his hair, the way he's dressed and most of all how he thanked his wife and daughter, that's a real man.
He nailed the Boston accent, hearing his normal accent makes it that much better

I think in interviews he uses whatever accent he is using in the film he's doing an interview for. So with things like this when he's not preparing for a film he speaks in his natural south london accent
He must win more awards in the future - not just because I'm sure he'll completely deserve them - but he gives such great acceptance speeches, I love listening to them. He's always funny, spontaneous, honest with his thanks to his co-workers and so sweet when talking about his wife and daugther :)
This is the real Bale. I wish he'd just be like this all the time, then people wouldn't hate him so much. Such a shame that he works so hard and is so talented and really is a good person. Some people just don't look past his method acting. At least his work is finally being appreciated (long overdue since his performance in american psycho to the prestige)
About time he was recognized! In my opinion, Bale should've received an Oscar long time ago for his performance in American Psycho!
