  • For this project, I decided to build a coffee table to go with the daybed in my office. After looking up various coffee tables on the internet, I found I really liked Rogue Engineer's Industrial Coffee Table and chose to use his plans and modify it for my own personal requirements. My two primary goals were to spend as little money as possible and use up as much wood from my wood stash as I could. I was able to achieve both of these goals, but I still have a considerable amount of wood left in my pile that I would like to use up. I was very happy with how the coffee table came out in the end. Normally, I finish a project and find I would change a few things if I had to do it again, but this was one of the few times where I didn’t want to change anything. I want to give a shout out to ‪@rogueengineer‬ who inspired this build and has lots of plans on his website for free that helped make this project very easy to do.

Its to tight! I have put on weight since my time in (muscle weight). It digs into my stomach to much when I'm crouched over. Also its super restricting if I wear it after eating a meal. I'm like a girl wearing jeans who needs to undo her top button after smashing an all you can eat buffet. Plus I'm out so uniform regulations don't exactly apply unless they want to recall me. But yes I feel like a shit bag every time I don't wear it.

@thediygrunt I've got the same problem with the weight gain. Get some new surgery every year to keep me upright, but can't keep weight off when I can't be very active. Keep up the good woodwork.
