some of the lines in the album trailer also talk about each of the girls' personal journey through their career. sakura has been an idol for 12 years and this is her 3rd group, so she reached for the third chance to debut. Chaewon was in a group with her previously, and she reached for her position as leader, and completely changing her image. Kazuha left her career as a ballerina, and yunjin who has been training for a long while but had not debuted yet, decided to take the risk of coming back to Korea to join the group, and eunchae was previously a trainee who worked hard and is basically giving away her childhood to live her dream of debuting in a great group.
What were skaura’s previous groups? Also was kazuha in another group before le serrafim because istg I recognize her name (might be thinking of a different kazuha)

I love that they even break editing/videography rules for this MV, like you explained with the 180 rule or the almost no noise within the break plus it being too long. Thank you for reacting and breaking this down, Jordan, I really enjoyed it!
@@nahqiv The 180 degree rule is a filmmaking guideline for spatial relations between two characters on screen. The 180 rule sets an imaginary axis, or eye line, between two characters or between a character and an object. By keeping the camera on one side of this imaginary axis, the characters maintain the same left/right relationship to each other, keeping the space of the scene orderly and easy to follow. When the camera jumps over the invisible axis, this is known as crossing the line or breaking the line, and it can produce a disorienting and distracting effect on a viewer. What does the 180 degree rule do? Following the rule will establish orientation. Breaking the rule will disorient and signal unease. Bending the rule signals a gradual change in your scene. 180 DEGREE RULE IN VIDEO PRODUCTION

1:21 It's not produced by Nile Rodgers, he is only featuring on the song with this guitar bass. He explained that he received the song and was asked to add something to it, and at first he said he even didn't know what to add because the song seemed already finished so he did not produce the song.
You better link another song in the album, "Eve, Psyche and the Bluebeard's Wife", the trailer "Burn the Bridge" and the MV "Unforgiven" together and you can better understand. Eve was the woman who ate forbidden fruit. Psyche was Eros' wife who opened Persephone's golden box despite told not to. Bluebeard's wife unlocked the underground chamber albeit Bluebeard told her not to. In the trailer, Chaewon stood before a tree, the forbidden tree, she represented Eve. Kazuha opened a golden box, she represented Psyche. The bloody kitchen in which Eunchae stood referred to the bloody underground chamber. Thus, they are "unforgiven"/stigmatized for doing what they were forbidden to. They told women to be not submissive, to question and break the norm.
What's amazing about your reactions is that even in the middle of fanboying, you take the time to break down the technical aspects of the video. Love your work as always!
Thanks for breaking down the video! I live in Korea right now, but this is honestly my favorite outlet for K-pop (I can count on one hand the number of groups I actively listen to), but this way I feel up-to-date on a wider variety of current songs while also trying to understand deeper meanings.

I wonder if the wing rip sound was so that we would focus on what she's choosing to define herself as. Not as a wounded angel, but as something altogether entirely different. Either way this song is a bop and the video rocks, and I love seeing your insights. I always learn so much from you!
If you listen to their song Eve,Psyche and the Bluebird's wife it might say something because at the end of the choreo they say "I wish for whats forbidden" and it might mean something

I was literally a Jordan Orme virgin a few minutes ago, and now I'm completely wrecked after watching three of your videos (Spicy, Pop, Unforgiven). It will not be possible for me to look at MVs the same way as before. THANK YOU.
What I noticed about the "Either give up, or give in" line was that they didn't choose to give up or give in. They are different and creating a new path. Also is it just me or like "unfor "?
eh.. the 180 rule is only when appropriate when it's difficult to know where everyone is in space. if it's something clear cut like in the elevator or the single subject like the bow and arrow, it's really not an issue. Also, in a sense, the rule wasn't broken, just the line not to be crossed, was the line between the man and woman at the back of the elevator. We never go inside the elevator and see our three subjects from behind. therefor the relation between the subjects in space doesn't get flipped. thus the rule wasn't broken. but that's just my subjective view upon this matter. xD But yeah ALso think the silent break was supposed to make us uncomfortable? Like, We do this coz we want to, not coz you want us to. But like always, love the vid, always gives me more insight and inspiration for editing and filming
