Not only is the name La Serrafim an anagram for I’m Fearless but a Seraphim is one of Heaven’s fiercest warrior Angels. So the thematic contrasts of good and evil can be attributed to the double meaning of their group name.
The duality is because Le Sserafim (or seraphim) are angels. They’re supposed to be celestial bodies. But now they’re singing about being “unforgiven”, so in a fallen angel/devil kinda way.
I’m so impressed by the fact that Nile Rodgers is working with them on this track, he’s a legend from Chic back in the day- I listened to him back then.
