yifat and adal walasma sultanate was created by Argoba( arab jabah) people with in Ethiopia jabert shewa an later extended and reached out to somali and E.africa. some of the stories here are not true , like demolishing mosques and forcing Christians to revert their religion. the fight was to have independent state and territory without the influence of Christian highlands

Hi Brother. The war was between rulers of kingdoms. All were Ethiopian. So don't present some of them as Ethiopian and others non Ethiopian. Sultanates of Ifat, Shewa, Hadya, Dawuro all were Kingdoms of Ethiopia ruled by Muslims. And Christian kingdom in north part of Ethiopia led by different rulers(Atse...their title).
